Word is Portland and the New York Knicks are getting close to making a trade that would include Knicks forward Malik Rose, who makes $6.9 million this season. Portland swingman Darius Miles ($7.2 million), a good friend of Knicks guard Quentin Richardson's, or guard Ruben Patterson ($6.3 million), could fiscally work in a trade involving Rose.

Yeah...thats not happening. YOu really got to question the source when the rumor comes out of a city not even involed in the trade.

Don't want Miles.

Rose for Patterson = lateral move

Nothing to go nuts over
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Nash already said any trade he makes won't be for longer contracts.

Rumor is BS.

If Denver does miles for Rose, IT would be more like miracle worker than a pimp, since miles plays in Portland...

I wouldn't do the deal for Patterson. Rose is a better player. If Miles is on the table, the trade would have to be expanded to give them more compensation. Maybe we throw in Barnes to match the salaries and San Antonio's first round pick.
