Doubt the Knicks will get Miller either, cos they don't have any players the Cavs want apparently (well unless they add another team to the trade). I read somewhere that Miller doesn't want to play in New York either..

Well in that case, I'd rather roll with Williams @ the point than cut our own throats for Van Exel...

Actually, I think they changed the tone in the artical and it is saying now "Hornets wait on Davis after making six-year offer", i.e. Davis has not officially agreed on the extension yet, although I think he will...

I think it's time for us to get realistic.. By acquirung Pg. Andre Miller, they will have to include Spree in a three way deal. So knick fans, if you would like to see Spree remain a knick, you can forget about andre miller playing PG for us.

For the time being I think our focus should be on getting Keon and another big man for backup. Lets get that done first and then take a look at Frank in the Shaw and then make a decision. I honestly feel that Williams is going to be our guy but that would still leave us to deal with one of our other point guards.

Like that focus, prowler...
Keon should be the first order of biz, then on the 15th, check the summer league. Williams showing up solid would end this debate. In addition, we can get Eisley or Ward outta here and chip away a little at our mountain of a cap.

Most importantly, the Core three would be left intact.

Today's version of the NY Times said Davis was likely to refuse New Orleans' offer...
