1. moving jerome james
2. moving malik rose

let everyone else just play it out and let lb figure out where they fit but the immediate need is to remove both of them from this team. we are CRAZY deep and we don't have enough minutes to go around, especially if lb still keeps praising malik like he's david robinson or something.

lee's development is being hindered as it doesn't look like malik will be benched by lb.

jerome james...well he's probably the worst signing in team history...the worst. the spoon signing was better and it looks like we'll be stuck with the big game for at least 2 more years.

a mad prediction - big game will prove extremely valuable later in this season. he was a guy well worth $5M down the stretch for seattle last year. curry is very - and i mean very - foul prone. in order to be able to keep frye at 4 and not over-rely on a young butler we will eventually need james to show and i think he will big-time later in this season.

marv, imho, jerome james was good for 2 games for us this year...and both of them against sacratomato. and he just sat it out. so that leaves one more game for us during the season. hopefully, we get to play sacratomato in the finals.

but outside of those instances...the garbage bag man is, ummmmm, garbage.

BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT...i saw that lb incorporated the high screen yesterday. so maybe there will be some hope just yet for him to reach the 15 min milestone.

I am not too worried about moving AD/Malik. AD comes off the books this year and so does Penny, and it's not like Lee is gonna fall off the world if he doesn't get playing time - it would be nice to be sure. And I think Marv is right, I see Big Game as more important down the road, whether he can get into playing shape is another story. IF he can do that and provide just little clog in the middle, he will be worth his salary.

Agreed. BIg Game is still a piece worth keeping and utilizing. If he could stop fouling, he could be big for us.

Malik, as much as I hate him and as much he cost us the GSW game, has actually been playing well. The Knicks are +12 when he's on the floor and -12 when he's off. That's a net +24 for Malik.

AD needs to go, big time. He's -48 and just plain sucks at every aspect of basketball.

Jerome is not the worst signing in Knicks History by a long shot. We needed a center he was the best available. He is a backup that played starter minutes. He is VERY comparable to Charlie Ward in that he is a starter on a VERY bad team and a reserve on a decent one. I think ou will see Penny's contract packaged with Jerome to a team that deperately needs size on the playoff bubble (Denver? which can use Penny at the 2 and Jerome's size with Nene out).

1 thing Isiah needs to concentrate on:

bringing in a "Kobe" for our "Shaq"

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I don't care what the stats say, Rose has sucked for us out there.
AD has not been anywhere NEAR as bad as he has been.

You'll have to give up some HUGE trade assets to get Miles.

I would usually think that description of Jerome is accurate except that he started on a 50 win team last year.

Curbing the negative media in a way similar to how the WHite House does it- Spew negativity once, and get restricted from access to team news. Do it again, and you're banned from all interviews and press confereces. The media would fall in line QUICKLY.

Peter Vescey would get cut down to part-time hours at the Post.
Chad Fraud and Frank Arse-Ola would be out of a job. Thank God.

Yes, definitely a good idea!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Then Vescey will just make up more stuff to try to kill our players' trade value. He'll do something like circulate rumors that the Knicks have found no takers for Steph and Q even though they desperately want to move both.

Darius Miles is hardly a need.

He's not a "Mr. Intangibles", and he's not a "Kobe"

If we're keeping Marbury, we need a Josh Howard or Shane Battier type.

If we're intent on trading him, we need a Kobe. Paul Pierce is probly the only thing close to Kobe that might be available in the future...

i think lee and ariza are going to be our battier and howard types.

i agree with you on miles. he's still an unappealing hi-stats lo-winning player imo.

Lee and Ariza are more like Howard... Battier can shoot from long range.

Honestly though, I think unless Marbury suddenly steps his game up under LB and becomes "Mr. Clutch" for us, we're gonna need a Kobe for our Shaq...

But his already flimsy credibility will be shot, having been denied access to any credible Knicks info. Then, even the ones who mindlessly follow his slanted words will finally see what he really is.
