I have just been seeing guys saying we need a young point guard to run with our big guys.

Nate is a rookie too right? Dude is a big time scorer and has shown he has the big balls to take and make the big shot. Dude has a great handle and his defense and rebounding is great for his position.

Still dude is 5'8".
I think of terrell Brandon. He stood behind mark price for years then all of a sudden jumped in becoming an all-star calibir point. He was 5'10" on a good day.

Anyway I think Nate will be the future at point.

he looked good last night. More controlled, and the pull up jumper was great in transition

He did look to be in more controll and I thought he played well too, but he is a long way from being a capable backup PG, but we got Craw for that now anyway.

He just needs time to learn how to play the NBA game, he was so much more athletic than everyone in college, summer league and even some people in the preseason once he learns how to get his shot off in traffic and be a little more disciplined with the ball he is going to be a good player

I put Nate up with all the young points out there especially the ones drafted ahead of him.

I think Nate would be on a lot of fantasy rosters if he were In Charlotte or new Orleans. Sab telflair would be in trouble if Nate was there instead of jack.

Nate needs the time to mature like any of them but Nate is right there. If marbs stays I think the knicks are safe with Nate on the bench.

It's too early to judge Nate either positively or negatively. I'm glad he's getting some minutes. I'm not sure he's as good as guys drafted before him or after him and I'm not sure he's not. Other than Chris Paul and maybe Deron Williams, none of the rookie point guards are playing especially well.

Nate never played Point. Little dudes should be points.

Im surprised nobody ever made him learn it given his size.

The triangle offense has no point guard and that offense has won a few championships of course along with a defense as well, but my point is who cares whether Marbury is a 2 or a 1, or Nate for that matter, has long as they can handle the ball and set up the offense who cares what position he really plays, isn't that why their are point forwards?. I mean who really cares!!!

Nate played more PG in the last 2 games... in the style of Dwyane Wade playing PG or Chauncey Billups playing PG.

Nate has the skills.. but it's just so easy for him to slash to the basket that he hasn't developed as much of a PG mentality as you'd hope... however, one thing you see with him at PG is that he makes decisions quickly. The ball moves quickly when he's in the game. That to me works well w/ a player like Crawford at SG, who likes to pass... and a guy like Ariza, who also makes decisions quickly.
