haven't seen Bogut enough, but I would definitely do Howard over Curry any day. That't it on the list though.

Chandler?

I mean I like what Chandler brings to the game, alot. But Curry is a much bigger talent imo.

Okafor
Dwight Howard

maybe Bogut, can't tell yet, but probably Bogut.

Gasol too.

But that is only a handful of guys, which means we are very lucky to have him on the squad.

Over Curry?

Bosh, Bogut, Okafor. That's it.

edit: Dwight Howard, maybe someday, but that kid hasn't learned how to play yet.

RIGHT NOW, Okafor, Dalembert, Howard, Bogut and Bosh. I really don't know much about Jefferson and I think Zach and Curry are kinda tired right now.

I'd go with Bosh, Bogut, Howard, Okafor, and Gasol. Howard and Okafor were the only ones of those five that weren't hard decisions.

I say Dalembert, b/c if we had SD over Curry, Frye can still take a lot of the scoring load for the frontcourt, and we still have Lee who can put up some points, and Curry will never ever be the defensive beast that Dalembert is bound to be in my eyes.

At the moment I would say:

Bosh, Dwight Howard, Randolph, Boozer, Okafor, Gasol, and Krstic are better players. Maybe Bogut too, I can't say this early.

Curry could be better than all of them except maybe Howard, if Curry ever learns how to play.

Curry is such a dominating presence, he's the NBA version of the big fat kid at the playground that nobody wants to guard because he can break your nose without trying. Unfortunately in the NBA that translates into foul trouble. He really has to work on his footwork and conditioning at the moment to become a better player.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

How can you say Krstic is better than Curry? He is just as foul prone as Curry and he has the same problem Curry has. No rebounding. Curry is atleast stronger than him and has a better low post game.

How can you say Krstic is better than Curry? He is just as foul prone as Curry and he has the same problem Curry has. No rebounding.

By looking at stats, wins, and playing time. Also by watching them play. When you boil it all down Krstic comes out very close to Curry. The differences: Curry is a enormous veteran, albeit a young one. Krstic was a skinny rookie last year, and is the third or fourth option on his team. Yet they have similar foul and rebounding numbers. Curry has slightly better scoring numbers, Krstic has slightly better pasing and shotblocking. I would have to say that Krstic is using what he has much better and unlike Curry, he still looks physically immature. It is very likely Krstic will bulk up, when he does, watch out.

Curry is atleast stronger than him and has a better low post game.

Curry is better in the post because of his size and agility, but he has no 'post game', he runs people over constantly. He really should be an automatic 2 points within a foot of the basket ala Shaq. If he ever learns to control his bulk he can be among the best big men in the league, but will he? On the other hand Krstic is a threat from right underneath the basket out to 18-20 feet. Krstic's offensive game, inside or out, is easily twice as developed as Curry's. All he has to do is keep hitting the weights.

I am not saying that it isn't close. Also, Krstic has had the benefit of playing half a season thus far with Jason Kidd. I think if Curry were with the Nets he might be headed to the all-star game because he wouldn't have to do much but wait to be set up and jam it home.

But that is not how things are so I have to give the edge right now to Krstic.

Once he gets in shape, which will help him stay out of foul trouble, Curry (except maybe for Howard). His rebounding is already much better. He would also be better if he played more with Frye instead of the two has been PFs, Davis and Rose, who should be waived.

Krstic has slightly better pasing
Krstic's averaging 0.7 apg and Curry's averaging 0.6. The only difference is that Krstic has Vince Carter, Jason Kidd, and Richard Jefferson to pass to, whereas Curry has Marbury and no one to pass to. That doesn't bode well for Krstic. I agree Krstic is the better shot-blocker and Curry is the better scoring. Their rebounding was about even until this year, where Curry has an edge (although it's very early).

Curry needs to get in shape and needs more coaching and experience. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.
