With both rumored to come to New York, if you had to pick one which would it be?

It would depend on who you would have to give up. Whoever has the lower asking price I'd gladly take. However, if it was between one or the other I think Davis would fit in better with this team, he's more athletic, steps it up in the playoffs (carried his team 2 years ago to a game 7 with Milwaukee; final 2 Orlando games this year had triple-doubles) and is more fit for a fastbreak offense.

Most definitely, without a doubt, hands down, no contest…Davis is our man. The problem with Dre is that he doesn’t necessarily want to come to NY, whereas Davis does. Davis is also more of a big time player, more of a draw. He is flashy, yet fundamentally sound. Dre is amazing, and if he ever becomes a Knick I will worship the ground Layden walks on…but Davis is our guy…

Well, Davis is by far the best all-around player of the two...
But I'd take whichever one we can get without having to cut our own throats. In other words, as long as McDyess, Allan, AND (especially) Spree stay put, I'm all for exploring those options. If not, then let's see what Williams can do.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Well we don't need to talk about this anymore because Davis just agreed to a 6-year deal with Charlotte.

Yes indeed, This topic is over.

Moving on, I'd choose Andre over Van Exel any day.

Actually, I think they changed the tone in the artical and it is saying now "Hornets wait on Davis after making six-year offer", i.e. Davis has not officially agreed on the extension yet, although I think he will...
