"I'm proud of him," Brown said of Marbury before the game. "I think he's trying like crazy. I think he's getting better. He's not the reason why we're 0-4. I'm happy with him. I'm not happy that we're struggling as a team. And that's my job. You don't correct it by changing players."

Whatever Brown says should be taken with a grain of salt. He will say that, turn around and tell his wife that Steph is a bum. Brown is a smart guy, he says what he thinks the other person wants to hear. Not all the time, but just take what he says lightly.

Why second guess his compliments? Larry Brown is stating the obvious. Stephon IS trying like crazy and we all should be proud of that. I hope he keeps it up!
I'm glad Larry Brown dealt with that trade rumor crap.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year.
GO KNICKS!

I see you point and I'm not second guessing. I am just saying, lets not bank on Larry Brown's words as if he loves the guy and will be able to work with him.

"I'm proud of him," Brown said of Marbury before the game. "I think he's trying like crazy. He's not the reason we're 0-4 ... He's 100 percent better now than he was at the beginning of training camp in understanding what I want."
Larry & Stephon... The Lovefest continues!
