Now that's a trade I really like folks, Lorenzen Wright would be an awesome center to have. Maybe throw in Ward and get Stromile Swift?

But what if that deal was tweaked a little...
Like Kurt + Othella for Lorenzen Wright and Tony Massenburg (the latter as a throw-in backup 4)...

That would be a decent and doable deal...(I ran it: #655997)
I would give them Eisley + Kurt for those two... Works (#655994)

Well if you take Massenburg as well, who would play center for the Grizz?

I think the NYK should try to get ahold of one of the Bucks centers, they currently have

unsigned 2nd rounder Gadzuric
unsigned 2nd rounder Jamal Sampson
(restricted?) FA Greg Foster
Ervin Johnson
Joey Pryzbilla

If the Knicks signed one cneter to the midlevel exception and traded for one of the Bucks centers (although not Foster) the 5 would be covered.

OK, but if they made the trade and also used the $4.5M exception on 4/5 players, how do we address the point guard issue??

I think that's alot to give up for Lorenzen only. Are you assuming that we would have already signed Keon? Lorenzen played down here in Atlanta and I wasn't impressed with his effort on a nightly basis. I still think he has underachieved based on his talent. Adding Massenburg would be nice, but I doubt Jerry West would do that. As for the any of the Bucks' centers, they are back ups at best and would only trade with them if we could dump salary and needed a back up.

The way I figure it, NYk need two centers, one to start and one to backup. Get a backup from Milwaukee and sign Keon or Nesterovic to start.

Lorenzen performed extremely well in the beginning of last season before he injured himself. He didn't play all that well in ATL but he might be a late bloomer.

PG? Well I really like Frankie so I'm willing to take our chances there, maybe sign Greg Anthony for insurance or trade during midseason for another point.

Ervin Johnson - If we can't get Keon, I'd like to get this guy
Joey Pryzbilla - He's ok, but I wouldn't be too confident having him start. I think he's a good defender, but his offense needs work. What's his contract like?
