I've got one thing left unsaid about the Knicks.

Elsewhere people accused me of being an Isiah hater and bashing everything about the Knicks. Truth is I've always liked Isiah, just not our rush-to-mediocrity rebuild approach. Particularly building around a backcourt, let alone one of low bball IQ, overpaid and/or under impactful tweener guards.

However, while we don't know how it will pan out, our frontcourt of Lee, Frye and Curry now do give us hope where, for me, there was little before. No more do we have to feel our success is inextricably tied to that of Marbury and/or JC.

The frontcourt is the hardest component to assemble, and while we know there will be personnel changes over the years, at least we have reasonable hope that some of our frontcourt components will be in place for a long time.

Props where due.

I'm with you briggs, only, I've been leaning towards a true point, it's obvious that marbs is the only point guard on the team.

Good post blue, I agree with your points... nice to have you aboard...

I just got back from the Hawks game, and I realized that the Hawks front court is very young, and not very big, to me a big part of their struggles, I like their talent but for some reason I feel they need a veteran big and a true PG, and move JJ to SG... I am happy to see the knicks have a group of young big men, it gives me hope, if you can develop these guys as one cohesive group, you will have something special..

The thing about JC that kills me, He's not even great at what he does. We always wanted Allan to be a better defender or more aggresive at taking to the hole, but at least he was one of the wickest Jump shooters of all time. So that kind of makes up for his lacking in other area's. But JC is really not great at anything other then ball handling, cross overs, and FT's.

If your not an all star by your 5th or 6th season in this league, forget about it u are what u are.

Good point about Crawford. It's a shame that he has not reached his potential. I am hoping tha Brown can make him a servicable backup PG now. His future is not as a SG...that is obvious. Whether he can be a backup PG, we will see.

NY needs backcourt help and its mainly because of his failures.
