Big Dog actually isn't that bad of an idea. He can still shoot and score the ball from the SF slot, which is something the team could really use. His recent stint on the Spurs also showed that he can sublimate his ego and play D if he really needs to. The main reason not to pick him up would be because we'd have to cut someone on the team, but if the guy to be cut is Barnes (negligible contract, limited skills) I'd say what the hell and go for it.

No interest in either of these two players. I would rather lose with what we have. Besides, we have no roster space.

Brown would have a big problem with his defense.

Building a culture is part of the plan, our team is very young. Bringing in a tough minded vet is one thing, bringing in a known Gazy man is not a good ideal.

I think Marbs trying to bust his but on defense is a huge thing behind the scenes. He has got to lead by example. If not the result, certainly by effort! If marbs can learn and try, they all must.

So long as the effort is in place, thats what we must maintain.
