Former Knick Tim Thomas, part of the deal that brought Eddy Curry to the Knicks, took an unveiled slap at his former team while praising his current Chicago Bulls teammates.

Thomas was asked about how he saw the Knicks fitting in with one of his former coaches, Larry Brown.

"I'm not even concerned with that. I'm not there," Thomas said. "Ask me about my point guards here."

OK. How are your point guards in Chicago?

"They're great. They pass the ball," Thomas said.

Draw your own conclusion, please.

While Gazy is just being Gazy, the passing thing is one we hear all too often.

Yah, that comment of his would have meant something coming from somebody else. I'm so glad he's gone.

maybe marbury didn't pass to him because he looked lost out on the court for the first half of the season.

And why pass the ball to someone who isn't giving an effort on the court.

Marbury might not be a pass first player in the ilk of Nash or Kidd, and he might not have played hard on the defensive end, and he might have been a b1tch d1va in the locker room, but he certainly tries harder than Tiny Timothy Thomas.

It's funny hearing Timmy talk. How many of his ex-teammates railed on him from Milwaukee? Please. He's a fugazy, and soon enough he'll have worn out his welcome in Chicago also.

Isn't it funny how everyone says this when they leave, but um, guys, I watched about 85% of the games last year and Tim Thomas not getting the ball was not the problem. The problem was what happened after he got the ball. Is he trying to imply that Steph was holding him back? He got about 10 shots per game last season, does anyone here think he deserved more shots than that? Or more minutes to get more shots?

Same with KT, he got as many shots as he could handle last year and now he wants to talk about Steph like he is getting more shots out in Phoenix or like he is gonna perform better out there. And to top it off, some of you guys eat it up like the mindless lemmings you are.

TT ISN'T EVEN PLAYING OVER THERE AND THE COACH ALREADY DOESN'T LIKE HIM!!!!!!!!!! Good luck getting the ball passed to you while playing 12 minutes a game you effing scrub.

LOL. Great points. Tim is a fugazy all the way. It's unfair to nail Marbury for Tim and KT being inadequate. Maybe if Tim wasn't part vagina and KT wasn't so soft that he can't move within 10 feet of the basket on a drive, except to grab uncontested rebounds they might not have had these issues. I'm glad that we're done with those two. Charles Oakley called KT a pretend tough guy once and he was right. Allanfan20 called TT a vagina once and he was also right. ;)

Yah, I heard during the Bulls vs. Nets game the other day that Coach Skiles was already down on TT for lack of effort.

Know that I think about it Kurt said something similar when asked about the differences in phoenix, hmmm.......... there's probably some truth to what they're saying.

It's amazing out pansy coaches handled it so long. That's why nobody can ever call Herb a good coach. How he let TT play and play when he didn't even try is beyond me.

He still was the easy pick over a rookie Trevor Ariza with very limited skills.

BUT, it could have been a real wake up call if Ariza started over him. It could have made him step his game up.

Tim does realize that if we passed him the ball more we wouldn't have won 30 games last season, right?

Tim had so many open shots created for him in the beginning half of the season and he couldn't knock down a shot period. After so many misses, why would someone pass him the ball at the same rate?

The only person TT has to blame for his shortcomings here is himself. He had one gutless performance after another. For that reason, one can't take anything he says seriously.

If we had passed him the ball more, we would would have lost more, so I'm glad we didn't.

One thing worth considering is that while it may be true that Steph passed to Kurt and TT to a reasonable degree, the fact that everyone choses to blame Steph for the team's woes is revealing in that right or wrong, fairly or unjustly, too many guys don't like Steph, and want him to look bad.

Too many times Steph's issues are looked at exclusively as on-court issues, like if he's a good PG, or is he an undersized SG, or a tweener who will never find his niche. Then other times people assert he's one of the most talented players in the game, but can he be coached, does he bring it in practice, is he a leader, is he likable, etc.

The problem with Steph is he's all of that at once, problematic on court AND off.

Not saying he's trash, but boy he's a tough cookie for a coach and teammates to get their head around. When fans dog him, coaches dog him, beat writers dog him, analysts dog him, teammates dog him... eventually one concludes where there is smoke there is fire.

hey blue, good too see ya here man, isn't this something, now we have TT going after steph.. wow..

The thing is, although TT is a slack ass on the court, doesn't mean he is wrong about steph... But we must admit, he is definately lacking in the credibility dept...
