Hey, did anyone notice how many of our players tried taking charges last night?? It was a nice thing to see. Mo taylor and company looking to throw their body on the floor. I would love to see how many charges Mo Taylor drew before this season. Anybody with those stats?

Marbury drew a charge last night. It's quite possibly the only reason I'm not on the "kill Marbs" bandwagon. This is a good sign and I'm glad you brought it up.

Its a double edged sword. Many think drawing a charge is a substitute for real defense and they wanna flop all over the court. The refs were rewarding that way too much on both sides. Many of JJ's foulswere the result of acting on the part of the wizards.

I know what you're saying, Killa. But in certain situations drawing a charge is the most demonstrative display of toughness a basketball player can make. A guy like Charlie Ward would put his body on the line and draw a charge from huge, driving, big man. I'm not talking about Vlade Divac flopping at phantom touches. I'm talking about putting your body on the line. I'm sure you've played ball. You know it's way easier to just let someone go by than it is to take the charge. I don't think SkyWalker is trying to congratulate flops. He's talking about standing in the lane and letting someone slam into you at high speed and laying it all on the line. I think charges drawn should be a stat.
