Today when McDyess was interviewed by Mike and the Mad Dog on WFAN, he said that his knees and legs would be stronger then ever due to the type of surgery that was performed and the weight lifting after. So anything that was written about him not being the same apparently isn't true.

I believe he also said on the NY Post that he is a more versatile player now than he was because he had to work on other parts of his game when his knees weren't fully healthy...
