I don't know what it is with Brown, but he never starts well with any of his teams. Perhaps it is his desire to teach fundamental, but for whatever reasons, his players always seem to be lost on the court. Besides Detroit, Brown has never had a set starting rotation. I hope that our kids get it very soon, because as a Knicks fan, I really don't know how many more losses that I can endure. We played a very strong game Vs Boston, but it appeared that we really didn't have it at home. Could it be the tough work out that Brown engaged his players into during training camp that causes our boys to have such poor energy? I know that it is early,,,,but I sure need a win

I don't really know, but I suspect that some players are having to relearn elements of their game in order to implement Larry's system. If you've ever tried to relearn something you thought you already knew how to do, you know how tough it can be.

Excellent point. I think this flows in line with the thought process that we will struggle for the first 1/2 of the season. What would be alarming would be to see no progress for the entire season. I don't expect that scenario, however.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I totally agree with the both of you...most of our boys were improperly trained...most of them left school early and didn't get a chance to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Marb, Crawff, etc will struggle until they develop that kin sense for Brown's style of coaching.
