Zeke needs to come back to the bench ! Think about it for a minute. We all know Zeke will play the kids almost exclusively. ( See Indiana when he coached ) LB playing all the old geezers is killing us. From the preseason to 2 games into the regular season it is now clear that when Frye, Nate, Ariza are in the game, the defense is excellent + energy. Step & Curry are our best scorers, so

C = CURRY
PF = FRYE
SF = ARIZA
SG = STEP
PG = NATE

Is actually our best lineup. You get defense, offense and hustle plays !
I know LB is a good coach but if he doesn't play the kids, then we don't make progress.

Just maybe Rose, Taylor, JJ & Craw are playing so other teams can scout them for a potential trade. MAYBE.

Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

Most logical solution is getting rid of the Hall of Fame coach we just payed $60 Million for, after 2 games? I know this is NY...but still.

I had suggested the trade value thing for some of the Vets, but I was told it was nonsense that LB would even think of anything like that.

I say anything is possible, but mostly he feels he has a better chance to win with a mixture of Vets and younguns, would be better. At this point I think LB should really make up his mind before the team is too far behind and can't get used to each other and play as a well oiled machine.

I want to see him play the kids also, but they have to earn his trust. I believe Frye should be in the regular rotation based on his performace tonight. He's ready. Nate's still a bit too out of control.

I'm sure LB will NOT allow Isiah as much leeway as he's had with prevoius coaches. I don't think Isiah will be interfering with practices, attemting to meddle with the rotation, complaining to the media about the coach, standing in the tunnel ominously, etc. LB won't put up with that BS. LB is the coach, he decides who plays, period.

I'm sure this was made clear to Isiah when LB signed the contract. Isiah has finally brought in someone bigger than him. IF there is organizational power struggle, LB will win.

Okay......I thought about it for a minute...........More DRAMA. Whine whine whine whine whine.

Take one minute yourself to reread your statement and ask yourself.....is it even remotely logical to make the assessement that........after only TWO EFFING Games .....that Isiah should come back to the bench and usurp Larry Brown as coach and....tsk never mind.

Sorry if this is disrespectful. I mean no offense by it. But Geez, did you think about this before you typed it.

I hate the losses, but they are actually good for long term success. Brown is way to reluctant to play our youngins, and losing early will force him to try to find energy through them. Ariza is too good of a defender not to be on the court for 30 minutes, especially when we have a need at SF. Frye is too athletic and gifted not to get in the game, especially when Jerome James and Rose are both less talented than him...I knew it was going to be hard in the begining, at least until we are able to trade Penny, Rose, or even Crawfford.

I agree with the frontcourt. I don't know if I'd use that in the backcourt as the starting lineup yet but I'd definitely experiment with it. Crawford's one of the worst decision makers in the league and is hurting the team too much to even think about starting him. Right now, Q is too injured to be a starter. That leaves Nate by default unless plays out of position Ariza at SG.

You know - you usually have posts I like. I don't always agree but they usually are thought out.

LB has coached 2 GAMES here. He is a hall of fame coach and he played 7 players 25 or under last night for a total of 136 of the total 240 minutes. Neigher LB or ZEKE or anyone else is going to play only player younger then 25 for 240 minutes a night.

LB has his hands tied right now--he wants to play certain players but has to respect the players that Isiah has brought in and likes. At this point I hope it's obvious to Isiah that some of his guys can't get it done. Everyone is saying not to worry but LB is worrying. Read everything LB has to say and you'll see he doesn't think this roster is going to work out. It's so obvious Marbury and Craw aren't working out. Two games? What about all of last season? Nobody fears either of those two players, they are so predictable.

Isiah will never coach this team.

We ARE playing the ute! Not all at once, you don't give the team over to the rookies, Reezy and Butler at once. They are playing in and will over time.

Remember the patience thing? Rebuilding takes time. Injuries will happen. Rose gets paid 8 million and he is a scrub. Whom should nate have spelled last nite? He played a lot in boston, last nite was channings nite. They all will get a shot. Both Games saw Reezy get more minutes than Barnes.

We have weaknesses. Give it time.
