is it safe to say we are overreacting?

Tell me that in three hours, but now, after this winnable game that was lost because of the Coach not trusting the young players that were the ones who turned the game around for us? Gimme a break Im extremely mad! This was pathetic!

Overreacting? We pay their salaries. The fans deserve better than Malik Rose at crunch time. If I forked out money for that game I would be demanding a refund.

We missed 12 FT's, if we hit half of those, we win. The knicks took almost no inside shots in the 4th. It's easy for us to say that his substitution pattern cost us the game but it's not true. It's his job to find out what he needs to be successful. It's gonna take time, it's as simple as that!!

Screw the Loyalty to the Vets, we had a win in the works with the way the Kids played.

This goes to show you that our vets have been playing with bad habits and are having a hard time learning a new system by an old vet LB, on the other hand the kids haven't been around long to obtain those bad habits and have picked what LB is dropping down much quicker than the vets.

Look at how many FT's GS missed...if they hit more they win as well.

If Brown can't see this, he needs new glasses cause:

Starting lineup + Rotation:

SF- Ariza
PF- Frye
C- Curry
PG- Marbury
SG- Richardson (even if he sucked bigtime today, if he is healthy he should be there)

PF/C- Davis
PG- Nate
PG/SG- Crawford
SF/PF Lee

PF- Mo T
SF- Barnes
C- Butler

Inactive:

Rose (this is the best place for you!)
Penny
James (get your freaking ass in shape and cut the fouls, dam it!)

I just don't get this. If this continues Brown must be just gettin too old. He coached like a senile bastard today.

this is the reason I wanted Isiah to coach this team. We would've won![:

Hey Ariza didn't start your suppose to be boycotting!

Relax. Everyone wanted a younger team more athletic team, with more size, more youth and a better coach. We've got all those things. It's just unrealistic to expect everything to come together after a preseason and three regular season games. I'm sure you're very intelligent and all but I have to say I have a lot more faith int the senile bastard then I do in you and the other posters ready to Tar and Feather him after losing three games with a team that nobody outside of this board expected to start well.

I have to say I was so-so on IT. But I thing overall he's done a great job. We have some exciting young talent and a great coach. Give it a little time.

Who cares what GS didn't do, The Knicks needed to make their FT's, and not be concerned with what GS does or any other team for that matter, NO SYMPATHY for any opponent, PERIOD!

What tha? Did you actually see the Knicks leading in the final minutes of the 4th quarter with Lee, Frye, Nate, Marbs and Ariza? Did you see what happened once Brown subed them for the vets? Freethrows have been the old story, we have had the chance to win every game we've played even with terrible free throw shooting. While its true we have to shoot better from the line, you can't think about that in the game! You have to get the best guys that you have and win you the game no matter how many fts have been missed. We lost this when the vets came! FTs helped, of course, but the game changed once the vets came.

I'm very glad we have Larry but I was concerned about him overplaying the guys who I hate with a pasion like Malik over better players and so far thats exactly whats happening. I hope after this game he realizes that the only way this team wins is with the young guys

Thats not the point! The point is that both teams missed freethrows, but the team that had its best players in the final minutes won the game. ANd that is the responsability of the coach...

The real point is to execute all aspects of the game including hitting your FT's, you have a much better chance to win the game no matter who is on the floor, that's playing defense, shooting over 40 % FG, hitting at least 78% from the FT, getting more REBS, and having a low number of TO's. Playing a complete game for 48 mins, is the key to winning.

LB trusts the vets, I'm sure he thought that they would hold on and win the game. I think he brought the vets back because he feared that the "kids" would wilt under the pressure that he knew GS would bring in the final minutes. Yes. it ultimately turned out to be a bad decision but that's part of the game. When these guys learn to play with pride and execute properly, things will be ok......it's gonna take time!!

No one is arguing that, but in the game, in the final minutes, you can't worry about missed freethrows. You have to get your best team on the floor, ala GS! They won because of that. We had this game even with the missed freethrows, but we came up empty again...
