I agree. When you are a lotto team and you draft a 4 year guy from college, the whole point of it is to make your team better NOW. While I wouldn't have argued with Brown giving Frye like 10 or 15 minutes, I think it is ridiculous that Rose actually went in before Frye. I could understand why Taylor was the first PF off the bench (he was solid in preseason and he is a vet, btw he played very well last night) but I really thought Frye should have gotten those Malik Rose minutes at the very least. I hate adding to the Bynum-Frye debate thing we have had going on for a long time, but if Bynum (someone right out of High School) can get 6 minutes for the Lakers, a team that is better than ours right now, then Frye definitely should have gotten some minutes last night (btw, off topic but Bynum looked very good last night in those 5 minutes, very composed).
you're right on that. Even getting Bynum involved for 5 minutes will pay dividens. he's two years away from starting, but he can help--2 block shots 2 rebounds using his length in the lane--and he was jipped on a shot that ws a goaltend, but neverthe less whether positive or negative, he got in there for some burn which is important and was able to help his team a bit.
i mean if ariza nate and barnes played--where the h is frye i have confidence in frye
