immediately after watching the game i was so angry like most of you. i thought the knicks are in for a long season and overrated. celtics are a low team imo and we lost to them something fierce. then i thought about the game itself and was not as discouraged as many of you are. let's get the negatives out the way, shall we?

(-)- our free throws were atrocious. i would expect it from curry but marbs? i wasn't upset with the effort of rebounding because most of them were lucky breaks for the celts but the box out especially at the end of the game was that of middle schoolers. we need to put a body on people. limit dumb fouls and adjust to the refs. the refs are going to call for pierce because he takes it to the hole. play him close and get him a difficult shot. don't foul especially if he has a rythm on the foul line. let him try to make the field goal but make the shots as hard as possible. decision making when penetrating needs to get better. defense from beginning to end needs to be better. communication is the key. do not let bums like delonte west go off. force him to take outside shots and be aware of where he is since he is on fire. fatigue and mental lapses are the reason overtime was ridiculous (20-6).

(+)- curry has establish himself as a very good low post threat. most of the time when he has touches in the post it is positive. marbury waited to the end to assert himself. he tried to get other people involve throughout the game. q-rich looks poised to do well. he will fill the gap of houston. nate the great looked good defensively last night igniting a spark. davis hustled and did as well as he could. he and curry will be formidable in the beginning of the season. james was physical which would have people think twice about entering the lane ( first time since the ewing days). despite the emotional night for the celtics, they took it to them whereas last year we would have rolled over and died in the first quarter.

The media beat us last nite!

Q and Davis have logged in very few minutes preseason both in games and practice. I was suprised to see them start. ANd That they held the Frye's (DNP).

Marbs looked a bit lost at times not knowing what to always do. I think he is trying. Tere weres some good plays and some bad forcing the ball.

The Ooop to Barnes was very nice!

Delonte played a crazy game. This guy is very complete!

Pierce looks like a bloated middle aged women. Dude can play, which I respect, but I don't gotta like him!

Boston fans are some of the ugliest in the country! I would expect that look from hockey fans, but man they were hard to look at.

the one thing that could be alarming is that the celtics are probably one of our most winnable opponents of the month. the rest of the teams this month are better.
