Stevie Graham.

He was cut by the Spurs but at 6-7 has the size and strength to play the 2 or 3. Obviously there isnt really a spot for him, but that may change at some point during the season. He could be a better player than Matt Barnes (who has been playing well) and if he is, Matt should be waived and Stevie should be signed.

He is a shooter and a strong body with good size. He would be dirt cheap and could be another steal.

VERY interesting development.....he is definately worth a flyer.....

I just got to say though there is alot of young talent on this roster and I hope we have enough time to develop it all as opposed to the Clippers, who stretched their develpment of young players so thin, none of them developed until they left.

I don't know but I'd like to find out. The story of the workout between him and his brother is legendary. If he can even be a spot up shooter, of the damon jones, kyle korver ilk, he'd be very valuable to us. And his handle is pretty serious from what ive read.

so wait- they're twins- I would think just from an athletic stand point, perhaps this is the kind of player who like a ben wallace or brad miller takes a bit longer to develop

I like Joey and Stevie since the pre draft camps, even with Stevie outplaying his brother. I was happy that the spurs had initially signed him, but they let him go like they do with alot of good players Eric Barkley, Linton Johnson, Romain Sato, Stevie Graham and many more they cut or waived. The thing or setback for Joey right now is a spot, if we could get a buyer for Malik Rose, with us taking a filler and draft pick, sould work, but i don't see much teams willing to go that route right now.

If he goes to the NBDL, and develops we may lose whatever chance we have to sign him, unless he was to chose us over other teams.

The player i was really looking forward to getting waived was Ronlad Dupree, but i think Dumars figured, he can't allow Dupree to go and sign and play for Larry Brown, like how he stole Rasheed so Isiah couldn't get him.

we'll see though with Stevie as well as the rest of our roster spots, if penny starts to bitch, he may get sent home like last year if not waived or bougout

Guys...you cannot get Graham (who showed very little other than a nice prysique at OSU) unless you cut a guy. We're not in a position to do that.

Cut Penny's contract. At this point I don't even want to take on another big name guy with his contract. Unless you tell me you are going to net Caron Butler with that deal, I say just cut him. Getting Graham would be a huge upgrade to Penny and Barnes for that matter. I sometimes can't figure out the Spurs but give them credit. I think they did that to give him a shot of making an NBA roster right now.

I agree with trading Penny's contract and getting Butler here would be a dream come true. I can see where you can say Graham would be an upgrade over Penny, but Graham and Barnes are extremely comparable and until I see Stevie play I don't think that he can realistically be called an upgrade over anyone we have.

One name: Mickael Pietrus. I love his game: great talent, athletic, offensive and DEFENSIVE game... could very well be a LB type of players. Since GS has commited itself to a few big contracts already, maybe, just maybe, there will be a chance to grab him in a couple of years...

I am still on and off with Pietrus. He hasn't truly broken out for one reason or another but he strikes me as a Boris Diaw clone.

what we need is marcus williams, pg ct. big pass first PG who controls tempo and has the ability to play good defense and rebound.

What we need is to trade Malik and Marbury...and bring in a pass-first defensive PG and a quality SG/SF.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

What we need is to tie bobs up and ship him back to realgm, with a note begging them to reinstate him.
