Knicks lost the first game to the Mavs. Maybe we can have better luck in Dallas. 7-1 center Jerome James plans to make his Knicks debut tonight in Dallas as New York takes on the Mavericks in pre-season action.

Will we see a front line with James and Curry? Will he be as foul prone as ever? Prediction: New York wins 90 - 82. James gets 4 fouls, 3 blocks and 8 rebs in 18 miuntes.

The debut of Big Game James... Looking forward to it!

Look for significant improvement compared to the last couple of games.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Close but no cigar. This past Sunday, Dirk Nowitzki continued to thrive against New York with a game-high 20 points, including 17 before halftime. Third-year forward Josh Howard added 16 on 8-13 shooting. The Knicks, who never led, watched the deficit balloon to as large as 16 late in the third period before a fourth quarter surge led by Lee, Robinson and Frye evened the score at 102 with seven seconds left. DeSagana Diop tipped in a miss at the buzzer to give Dallas a dramatic 104-102 victory.



3 BIG QUESTIONS


In three career regular season games against New York, Howard has averaged more than 20 points and shot better than 60 percent from the floor. How will he fare this time?

Nowitzki has tallied at least 20 points – precisely his total from the first game – in his last five regular season outings against the Knicks, all Maverick wins. Can New York contain Dirk?

The trio of Knick rookies all scored in double figures – including a team-high 17 from Lee – and led the fourth quarter comeback charge last time out against Dallas. Will the kids continue to contribute

This is a little test for all the rookies especially Frye and Lee. Reason I say this is becuase its a team they've already played in this preseason and not long ago so the Mavs have a good idea of both players strengths and weekeneses. It'll be interesting to see if Frye and Lee can ajust to this kinda thing. I think if they both play well again tonite its a pretty good sign in their maturity.
