Notes & quotes: Antonio Davis, who practiced for the first time, "looks great," Brown said. He said the same about Jerome James, who may see his first preseason action Friday after sitting with a strained right hamstring ... Quentin Richardson (hamstring) and Eddy Curry (sore right shoulder) did not practice

So how do you guys the Jerome "big game" James will do tommorow against the mavs? even though he missed the last couple of games he's been in the training camp practices and at the practice cited above so he has no exuse for a poor performance. however he performs tommorow should be pretty indicative of how he will perform this season, having said that I predict that tommorow jj will have 10pts, 6rebs, and 3blks. I know some people will say theres no way he gets those stats but I think he will be forced to use the potential he showed flashes of in last seasons playoffs under larry brown. after watching jamal crawford take very few bad shots and going to the hole instead of settling for the jumper quite a few times in the last few games I am convinced that change is possible under LB, right?

If he gets big minutes he could definitely fill the stat sheet up. If he gets around 25 minutes I'll say he puts in 12 pts 7 boards and 1 blk--BUT our defense will look very improved when JJ is patrolling the lane.

He comes from an injury. Yeah he has seen the practice, but reading the article, he has really had what, only that practice? This is not a make or break game. Its preseason! I hope he has a good game but it doesn't matters how well he does in this game, but in the last couple of games of preseason, where things will get more serious. By then Larry will probably has his rotation set, and then we will see how well James will do given the minutes he plays.

Now, its possitive that Larry Brown said he looked great. Hopefully thats a sign of good things to come from James...

Yeah thats true I should give him some more slack than just 1 game coming back from an injury, but I think, as my prediction indicates, that he should still perform better than his last season averages, if he really does have the potential to do what he did in the playoffs on a consistent basis.

dallas is a running team. I think jerome will have minimum impact.

My guess for Big Game's night against the Mavs tomorrow... 10/7/2.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I actually wouldnt be that discouraged if he racks up fouls but if he is the same barely productive, blocking foul waiting to happen as he was last year than that means that all those people who said picking him up was a terrible decision by zeke will be right. Ive always argued that under LB jerome james will be better and that signing him wasnt that bad of an idea, hopefully JJ doesnt make me look like a fool tonight.

James will do well in tonight's game, especially if Marb plays big minutes. I expect 30 minutes, 14 pts, 2 blks, 6 boards, and 5 fouls out of him. Frye and Davis should see considerable amount of minutes at the PF position

James will hack all 5 Dallas starters and try to take Nowitzki's head off because he has a problem with foreign players. Like my man matt say F-em up big man F-em up

I suppose that could happen if Jerome James fouls out and then wheres an eddy curry mask and somehow tricks the refs into thinking hes the real eddy curry and that the other guy is an imposter.

I can't wait to see his sloppy ass running around MSG. I hope he plays well and gets taken out because of fatigue rather than fouls.
