I kinda liked what I saw from him yesterday. He hustled good and hard yesterday and his defense was pretty solid. He seems to have some skill too on the offense. Not that explosive, but still athletic. Pretty short and VERY skinny, but that can be worked on. You think it would hurt to sign him as the 12th man or something, and use him as insurance in case Nate or Craw or Marbs gets in foul trouble, or injured (God forbid).

Ariza clone in a way. He can dunk run the floor, is okay with his J. I think someone mentioned him as an Ariza type player as well. Very athletic.

I'd like to see what else shakes loose as teams continue to waive players. If noting out there looks better, and if we have the room, then maybe so.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

You thinking of MAtt Barnes the SF, not Barber the PG? I think Barnes will make the team and Barber will go NBDL.

I agree with the finality of Houston retirement, we now have SERIOUS void at the 2. We need a pure shooter with some athlethic ability with size. A younger and healthier Houston. If I was IT and his scouts that is what I would now spend time on scouting a guy to replace Houston. because, Steph and Craw are not the long term answers at the 2.

Barber looked nice, but there ain't no room for him here. With Houston retiring, we have an extra roster spot that would be much better spent on Matt Barnes.

Obvious keepers (b/c of either talent or contracts), in no particular order:
Marbury
Crawford
Nate
Penny
Q
Ariza
Rose
Taylor
Curry
James
Frye
Lee

That's 12.

Would be nice to keep:
Butler
Davis
Barnes

3 more makes 15, and we're maxed out, meaning...

Maybe next year:
Barber
George
Brewer
