this dude is a punk and he will pay for it this season. I don't know who he thinks he is, but he sure as hell can run his mouth. I hope that our boys make him pay for his comments when he penetrates the paint...I know that our record was really bad last season, but to put us in the same category with Atlanta is an insult....


Even when the Knicks dominated headlines for a week with their courting and hiring of Larry Brown, Richard Jefferson says he paid attention to it about as much as what the Atlanta Hawks were doing.

Hey his team has been better so he gets to talk. The day that our team has a better record at the end of the season, then we can talk. Right now I don't care what he says, I just want this Knicks team to get better and beat the heck out of the Nets.

actually i like richard jefferson in fact he didnt really say anything insulting about the knicks at all it was the author of that article who said that we've had laughable blow outs and that the nets are paying as much attention to the knicks as they are to the hawks, even J kidd acknowledged that we are a better team the author of that article is just pro nets and anti knicks.

I'm not particularly fond of the guy either, but he really didn't say anything bad in the article. He even said "that's not a knock on (the Knicks) by any means." As it points out in the article, they've had a 17-3 record against us since Kidd came to New Jersey, so why would he pay us a second thought? Hopefully that changes this year...

I don't mind Jefferson at all- he was very diplomatic in discussing the Knicks despite the writer's spin.

Kidd, however, has a huge mouth. Remember last year's "They're just another bad team" comments following our elimination from the Playoffs? Dude needs to shut up and go beat his wife some more.

But, he's held his tongue so far, perhaps in anticipation of an improved Knicks squad.
