Im sticking with .500 even with Eddie.

I like our depth, but the injury bug bothers me and lack of a leadership despite our abundance of talent and larry still leave us as not knowing how to win.

If Steph is reallying gravitating over to the 2, then its gonna be a big learning curve with Craw.

James and Curry will be expectedd to run. Players never really ever been in shape do injure even as young as Curry. He will adapt if he is into it.

Despite the words, these young immature multimillionairs might not take to Larry's constant attention to detain and take teh easy route and turn him off. Larry might also become frustrated and perhaps not feeling up to it and maybe we shut it down earlier.

Im not hating, and lord knows I don't want to be right, but the dynamics a young team can be injury prone and can take on some bad charactoristics. I would be very very disapponted!

Im looking at what could go wrong which is not the popular tune to whistle around here, but I don't seeing us as "elite" this season, and am just a bit wary of what could happen.

Better to be prepared for it, cuz it will be ugly. In fact, It may be just the sort of thing that can galvanize a team into a "TEAM" and they may JUST HAVE TO DO IT TO MATURE!

Thus, I think the first half will be rough with a nice run at the end of the year to get into the playoffs!

Let this thread sound off for those who see things as less than perfect!

I don't think things are perfect at all. I was never an Eddie Curry fan for his loafing, but hopefully, this can all change under Larry. Things aren't going to be all rosy this season, and we might not even be scary, but we are very very promising. If not this year, then definitely next year. I like the idea of having vets on the team, but I think it's good that we have a couple that can really really really contribute. That should have been Davis, but that looks like a lost cause. Malik is too short for his position and Allan and Penny are shot. I don't think Larry is exactly liking James to this point and I have a feeling he's not gonna be a huge Curry fan either, but we'll see about that. Hopefully, Curry gets his fat arse in shape!

Well put. The road to greatness will have charactor building moments.

While many are aware of it, I just don't think its been discussed.

They call it "growing pains".

The Knicks ARE NOT perfect. Miami and Detroit are still better. NJ may be better. The point is, look where this team is. 2 years ago, we were old, short, slow and bad. Now LB is saying how YOUNG the team is and that they need some VETS!!!!! The Knicks are now YOUNG, TALL, FAST and ???. With LB, the teacher, as coach, the kids will learn how to play the right way and become decent at the least.

The future looks bright. We have Penny expiring and AD if he is kept to be traded. If the team is geling come the break, look for IT to make a deal for some veteran leadership.

I am in agreement with how the team is being built. The Knicks are young, forget the $$$. They are on their way. Year 2 of 3!

I'm not at all convinced. I believe the players on our current team are better than they were a couple of years ago, and we have a whole lot more reason for hope. There's no reason not to expect great things from this team.

But it still feels like a bunch of guys thrown together. A better bunch of guys, but still a bunch of guys. I look forward to seeing if they can play as a team.

https:// It's not so hard.

A little patience fellas....Zeke has only been on the job for no more than 2 years...Marb and Crawf have been together for less than a full season because Crawff was injured. Larry just took over, and we have a bunch of talented kids. We are now young, fast, strong, and most of all, we also have a mixture of talented vets to still deliver when we need it. It is like marinading a Turkey...we took it out the freezer, add all of the ingredients, and now we have to cook it; keep in mind that it takes at least a good 2 to 4 hours for a turkey to be well done.

Basting also helps. Last few years I have used an orange juice maranade I inject, rub with spice and deep fry for about 45 min , or 3min a pound.

The best most juicey turkey in the world!

But when you put that wet turkey in the oil it is very volatile at first.

see, Knicks like frying a turkey. Pass the peas!

LOL. Crawford missed 12 games. You acting like he missed 50 games. Because we all know with those extra 12 games Knicks would be so much better off. Too funny.

I'm not even gonna predict anything at this point. Over the last few years I'v seen so many changes and so many results vaying from total failure to great sucess, so I'm reserving my jugdment. Can this all fail, sure it can. If everything goes wrong like id did last year, it will be ugly.

But the chances of everything going wrong are not that great. Last preseason we needed everything to go right to be competitive, this time around we just need everything not to go wrong. I think thats a stepup. But like Nalod says, it wount be a cakewalk some people think we are gonna get this season.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
