I don't know how it will happen, but Artest was always one of Brown's favorite player and I expect him to be on our roster soon, perhaps at the expense of Penny. He is a very good defender and most of all, he can score and rebound.

sorry mods...i have switzerland reverse jetlag and dido's post trhew me over the edge...and I won't make the yankee game either!

Wood said the same thing in another thread. We'll have to give up more than Penny to get him though.

He thought Q would be the best tradebait or a deal like that...

Hopefully they can put the past behind them and do business...

If there's some more drama (though not anywhere as bad as last year's brawl), we can use it to our advantage in a trade. It would be another unorthodox acquisition challenge for Isiah to tackle.

exactly. Lee is drawing interest from GMs around the league. I don't want to hear "I would keep Lee and give them Ariza" because if we're getting Artest we have to give up more than Q and an expiring contract. This only happens at the deadline if miraculously the Pacers struggle so I doubt it happens. The pacers have a contender with Jneal, Artest & Granger

Yeah, were going to get Ron Artest for Penny Hardaway, and then KG for Antonio davis and first. We got Eddie Curry because no one would pay him, we got Q because no one wanted him-- this other stuff is beyond s t upi d!

What about Ariza, Frye & Penny (or AD if around) for that same package.

They get some cap relief (Croshere) and trade a talented but problematic star for 1 young cheap big to put alongside Oneal & up and coming youngster (Ariza).

I could see something like this happening.

Guns: Artest is not coming here. They dont need Q, they have Stephen Jackson. Would be great if we get Artest. Really really great. I think Artest is as much of an impact player as Brand.

Im sorry Ive never noticed you before other than the day you were trying to spam your tickets here. You just come by once in awhile to rah rah sys cum bah go knicks. You watched Andrew Bynum play live before? He's got 10 times the chance of being a star before channing Frye because he has a dominant type physicality to go along with 7+ foot size, athletic ability a 7-7 wingspan and solid fundamentals. Not to many 17 YO make an NBA impact. before I ran my mouth, I would atleast know what Im talking about chief.
