I don't know how it will happen, but Lynch was always one of Brown's favorite player and I expect him to be on our roster soon, perhaps at the expense of Penny. He is a very good defender and most of all, he can score and rebound.

Hate to tell ya Diderotn but he's not the defensive stopper he once was.. All kinds of different injuries has slowed him down considerably.. Also, he's 35 yrs of age.. I think the Knicks will go a different route..

Same goes for Eric Snow.. He's up there in age despite the fact he still can play d.. I just think the knicks will attempt to acquire a much younger and talented defensive stopper..

Good points about Lynch and Snow. Who do you have in mind that fits the age criteria better?

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Is this just speculation or did you hear about a trade in the works? I'm assuming speculation.

LOL you did mention that on the phone the other day. Question is, who will we trade for Artest that they will take?

Speculation. I don't think Lynch or Snow will be on the Knicks. Too old, too expensive and the Knicks already have too many players who can play. If Brown needs an earpeice in the lockerroom: Rose. He is a vet and can be Brown's right hand man.

For some reason, i don't think Q will remain here as part of the Knicks longterm plans.. I think someone else will secure the 3 position, a defensive stopper!!!
Somehow RON ARTEST is the missing piece in building a championship team here in NY..

Isiah will get him over here somehow.. He wants to play for the Knicks...

No offense, but when you start a thread based on a guess in the future, would you please label it as such.

This will be an interesting test of hierarchy. Brown the coach does like and want these players (though he is LOVING working with amd teaching talented kids), while Zeke insists on more or less elite baseline AA and prefers youth. Best guess, someone younger will fill these roles.

Matt barnes is a better version of Lynch and hes 8 years younger and cheaper. If we make a move with an ending contract it has to make sense--either a really good vet with minimal time left on their contract or a young up and coming stud like Maggette-Boozer etc.... where you really get value

I would LOVE to get Maggette for Penny or something. I'd even trade Q and Ariza-OR-Lee or something for Maggette. Shoot, I'd think about trading Marbs for Maggette and Wilcox (I know I propose that trade all the time).

Yup, they are completely dead weight. We have plenty of vets on the team who can already contribute, at basically all positions. Center- James and maybe Davis. PF- Davis and Rose. SF- Really are only one lacking a true vet. SG- Houston and Penny. PG- Marbury and heck, Crawford is becoming a little vocal. We have absolutely no need for any of those guys. It only adds to the glut. If you do that, DJ, make sure you meet up with me so I can sign that bat first!

Exactly...Barnes is a similar player and could play that role here. Making a move for an old guy Lynch (and Snow too for that matter) is pointless.
