I have written about this before, but I just thought that it is only fair to revisit this subject. With the 8th pick, we chose Frye and in that same draft, we found a couple of excellent players in Lee, Nate and Q. Immidiately after that, we signed big James to solidify the Center position and in the same month, one of the greatest teachers of all times has gotten fired by Detroit. Zeke went to work and enticed him (Brown) to agree to lead our beloved Knicks. Just as if our fortune was not good enough, Curry got traded to the KNicks.....

Trust me fans, something freaky is about to happen with our beloved Knicks. On paper, we are as good as the elite teams in the league...

Dido, man. You are hyped beyond hyped. I ain't gonna knock you though. We'll be there to pick you back up when they hit a bad patch....and they will

I do have to admit that on paper they look damn good. I think the thing that could take them over the top is if along with all of the new additions H2O's knee could magically heal.

They look better than last year on paper, but its all going to come down to how much potential Brown can pull from all of these talents that haven't been successful yet. They definitely don't look top tier on paper... they have a bunch of guys who are better than average, Brown needs to make them great.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

H20 issues are all mental, Larry will find a way to get in his head. He did it with Derick Coleman, he can do the same with Houston. Houston can continue to take his sweet time all until mid-season.

This Knicks' roster is so talented and given the fact that we have one of the best stratigizer and motivator in the league on our sideline, there is no telling how far we will go. We have guys that can score, rebound, block shots, especially in the frontcourt. Rest assure, Larry Brown will find a way to maximize our talents

I see our Knicks transforming into an elite basketball team no later than this season. We have speed, strength, and we can score with the best of them. I am so excited......

Marbury
Maurice Taylor saw increased action today, although he did not participate in scrimmages…Brown said he was hopeful that Antonio Davis would be in camp soon, although he did not know when for sure…Channing Frye and Allan Houston also participated in very limited drills…Brown added he is not concerned about the outcome of exhibition games, that they should be used as learning tools…Nate Robinson and Stephon Marbury had some intense matchups at the point spot, in scrimmages… team will practice Tuesday morning at 11 at the College of Charleston… Larry Brown will be David Letterman’s guest on “Late Night” this coming Thursday.
