IMO Curry's going to surprise alot of people with his boards this year. I just don't see Larry Brown tolerating anything less than significant improvement in that area from Curry.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Q averaged the most RPG out of all these players last year. If he moves from SG to SF, he'll be closer to the basket and could probably average 7 to 7.5 RPG. I voted for Curry because I'm REALLY hoping that he becomes the rebounder he's capable of being but I wouldn't be too surprised if Q were our leading rebounder if he starts.

I agree. I think Curry will be our best rebounder. I think his rebounding numbers were low because Tyson Chandler is a better and more aggresive rebounder. I think Curry will turn into our rebounder and scorer in the paint automatically. I just hope he starts blocking shots and better help D.

Curry will grab most rebounds/game, imo. But I think Lee is our best rebounder ... he'll lead the team in rebs/min, but just won't get that many minutes.

Kt. Sweets. Then Rose.

Until otherwise proven.

WE are trading good rebounding. Yes I like the deals, but we need to replace what we lost.

You guys forgot Ariza. If Trevor cracks the starting lineup he will bring down 8-9 boards a game. He is good for 3-4 offensive rebounds a game.

If you're that certain, the I guess you're completely ignoring players' histories.

It's nice how he's a good rebounder, but no way should your small foward/ shooting guard be your best rebounder. I think right now, it's pretty much Antonio Davis even though he's way past his prime. He pretty much replaces what KT gave.

Curry's job is to dominate our teams:
1. Low Post scoring/scoring in the paint.
2. Rebounding.

Regardless of his past stats, this is what LB will be expecting from him because he is totally capable of producing big in both of those area, not just scoring. LB will get him right, he is the best in the business.

I agree, but if he averages 7 RPG and our other big men also average around 7 RPG, I don't think it would be a disaster. It would be disappointing, but the team could still win around 45. Didn't Jason Kidd (their PG) lead the Nets in rebound many years?

Just checked: Kidd led the Nets in rebounding last year. Their SF (RJ) was their second leading rebounder. When the Nets reached the finals 2 years in a row, Kidd was their 2nd best rebounder.

I would say Ariza. Then Lee. But from this list, I think Curry will step up his game and average between 7 and 8. i think he might lead the team, but the per minute leaders will be Ariza and Lee.
