these numbers are reasonably good, but there are obvious points that I can see where fundamental teaching and more effort by Eddie can improve his game--mainly in fouls committed, passing the ball, rebounding the ball. Now for him to stay in 40 minutes or close to it, he needs to cut down on fouling, hes going to need to learn how to pass the ball more--avg barely 1 assist in 40 min? and his rebounding is to small for his enormous size-he needs to learn better positioning and play and attack harder. His rebounding numbers have actually gone down y-y every year in the league while his TO ratio has risen.
Hes able to score at a nice clip and a high % and while his reb hasnt been great, its not terrrible. Maybe we can hire Vlade Divac to work with him since he retired

Wow, I cant believe someone else is up at 7am on a Saturday morning.

This guy has some unbelievable upside. I think his rebounding will pickup a lot when he starts this season. IMO, one of the main reasons he didnt rebound as well is because he played next to a really good rebounder. You are right about fouling and the assists.

coincidently as Curry's rebounds went down Chandler's went up. I've heard about how bad a passer he is, hopefully larry can help him out and keep him out of foul trouble

Larry can help him, he is a master of basketball mechanics. If a guy with Eddy's hands and touch is a bad passer, he's doing something wrong.

I think both Curry and Chandler were hurt by a lack of coaching in both Floyd and Cartwright. I am not that worry about Curry rebounding, look at Shaq who never rebounded like he was capable of doing in his career.

I'm very anxious to see what Mark Aguirre might be able to do with Eddy on the rebounding and the passing aspects of postplay. I know Curry just joined the team but I haven't seen anyone talking about him potentially working with Agquirre, who himself was a pretty good passer and should have a few good ideas on how Eddy can pass better out of the post.

I just want Eddy to rebound a few more a game becuase I think the offense is going to be there no matter what and I'll take the tradeoff of 8rpg instead of him passing better but damn, imagine if he can pass straight out double-teams to Allan Houston who will be wide open at the 3point line (if he's healthy of course.)

thats because it takes more than just size to rebound. The best rebounders have a knack for going after rebounds

I wish Silas was still an assistant, he helped Ewing be a much better rebounder.

curry has one problem and that he need to bring it all the time. He is very young and I think he will figure it out and be a great player.

I don't think Curry will play 40 minutes, just with conditioning and foul issues. I'd be thrilled with 36 minutes. that's three minutes off every quarter. That sounds about right. Going by that, I'd say he'll put up 17-20ppg and 7-8rpg.

Not only that, it keeps big game James' numbers nice and low too.
