I wanted to go with 18, but I figured with all of the scorers we have, he can't rake up too many ppg this season...but 18 sounds nice to me.

I just put up 18 based on the fact that every season he's raised his scoring by at least 3 points. Last season he averaged around 16. So instead of jumping to 19 (which would be consistant with his career pattern) I just settled for 18. I believe that he'll achieve that only because the Knicks have been starving for post play for so long and we have so many perimeter players until I believe the kid will get a whole lot of touches. They'll be looking for him for sure. Put it like this, for the first time we have a mismatch night in and night out at center (not counting Shaq, Yao, Z and Big Ben) and I'm sure Larry will exploit those mismatches. Curry is a lot to handle downlow. Curry will keep other bigmen in foul trouble. I still say 18 imho. 17 AT LEAST.

Due the amount of players we have, I don't think he will do better than 15 ppg 6 rpg 1 bpg which is very good in around 30 minutes.

Larry Brown teams tend to be relatively balanced scoring... you might have a 4 or 5 players scoring in double figures.

Assuming Marbury remains the leading scorer (around 20ppg)... how does it pan out for the rest of the team? Does Curry jump all the way up to #2 on the scoring chart? For the Knicks to win a lot of games, he'll need to become one of the top 3 scorers on the team. I say he'll be kind of inconsistent in his first year as a Knick but show flashes of brilliance, averaging 15ppg/7rpg in 32mpg. Crawford ties, with 15ppg. Q Rich adds 14ppg, Nate Robinson surprises with 12ppg. Ariza brings 7ppg, James gets 7ppg... the remaining 23regulars get 4-6ppg.

Houston averages 11ppg... but frequently sits out games... has a big game every so often... but is a non-factor in most...

18/7/2

I think he'll benefit from Larry's coaching in a big way.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I dont care as long as he is effective, finally we get our TRUE center, the first since Ewing left (Mutumbo was over the hill)

If Curry gets 36 minutes per game he is gonna average 20 with no problem.

Marbs scoring is gonna take a hit, but watch his assist numbers go up.

Also his turnover, steal, and defense in general will improve.

I think Marbs will go for something like 18, 10, and 2.

Curry... 15, 6, and 1.5...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Marbs assists are gonna go through the roof. Tim Thomas and Nazr Muhammad won't be rimming any more of his breakaway passes.

If Marbury moves to SG his assists will go down.

I see Curry averaging something like 15 points 6 rebounds. Too many scorers on knicks now.

Have you forgotten about Marcus Camby? 11 boards & 2 blocks is what a TRUE center does.

Scoring with your back to the basket is also what a true center does.
So is playing 60+ games a season.
