Sorry for being unclear. My point was that the first post states that the NBA offices are watching this deal closely over the Davis waiver charade. IMO, the NBA, through Stern, should do anything it can to faciliate the trade as long as Curry checks out physically.

but Stern always gets very prickly when the issue of the NBA offices favoring NY comes up. Ever seen his reaction to a joke about the Ewing lotto being rigged?

I'm worried he'll just blow up the whole trade at this point. whatever happens doesn't look good for the NBA right now. I'm worried it will become about saving face and that will not favor the Knicks.

Then he hasn't had much opportunity to get prickly because the NBA has basically done **** for the Knicks.

Yeah man I need a Curry Jersey in my life.

I kinda trust SAS. I think the deal did go through.

As far as Paxson playing hardball? Even if the doctors clear Tim, Jermaine and Sweets to play if there is even the slightest reason to nullify the deal they can do that. Look at the Nets and Rahim. Sactown sucked him up with no problem.....but Thorn was very vocal in his decision to dump Rahim.

Anyway I hope by 6pm things are finalized and they don't use the Jewish holidays for a reason to get more time to drag this out. Specialists don't work the weekend!!! It needs to be done with by tonight.

there's no way this gets resolved tonight, unless it's blowing up.

What channel is it on? ESPN is playing SportsCenter, ESPN2 is baseball, ESPNews is PTI.

Nevermind. SAS is on ESPN2, not right now, but immediately after the Red Sox/White Sox game.

Good, I'm glad the baseball game's still on, and didn't miss his show.

I'm guessing that SAS will be on @ about 8PM if the game doesn't go into extra innings.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
