I think the final piece for the Knicks, on their road to becoming an elite Team is Nene. He is a free agent after this season. Imagine the line up of Marbury, Crawford, Q, Nene, and Curry. Then we have an more experienced Frye, Lee, Ariza, and Nate off the bench, along with Jerome James. It would be a wrap. I say we offer Mo T (Expiring at the end of next season) and a #1.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

NeNe is a player I like, but he is little light on the rebounding, and in the way our team is currently configured, I don't think he is the perfect compliment for Eddy Curry.

He averaged more rebounds than curry did in less minutes. I would get a sign and trade for him with a crawford like contract and give denver Mo T expiring contract and a future first round pick (not 2007 cuz i think that will be a great draft)

Would Denver take MoT? Plus, didn't we trade too many #1's already? Isn't there a rule stating that a team can't trade 1st rounders in consecutive years?
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

i mean, we're talking down the road but if nene becomes available next summer in a sign and trade, i would move Q for him.

you think we have the final piece!!! Dont get me wrong I am a die hard knick fan (we all are) but this team is not winning any championships. I think curry was the most important piece but we are not finished rebuilding yet

Personally, I can't understand why anybody would think we need a final piece.

We have everything we'd need already.

All we need is time...

Yeah, the team is moving in the right direction but you can't say we have all the pieces we need unless you assume the best case scenario for every player on the roster
