Back in the day, Riley was all about an 8 man playoff rotation. Subbing ONLY when necessary and subbing smartly. I think this tight rotation is like the golden rotation, only to be used by championship teams...sooooo.
Assuming we get the 8th seed and have to match up with Shaq and the heat, what is your 8 (or 9) man rotation with the lineup we currently have...I'm torn, but I'm thinking it's:
Marbs, Craw, Q, Curry, JJ and Ariza, Frye and ... Because of wade, and the fact that we are dropping weight on shaq, I'm gonna have to go with...
Nate and Lee? Penny and Rose?
I just don't know, hence the thread. (just curious)
Thoughts?
PS...our last playoff "eight man" rotation (actually it was 9 and van gundy) was: Knicks: Mark Jackson (7.6 pts, 8.0 ast) Allan Houston (18.7 pts), Latrell Sprewell (17.7 pts, 4.5 reb), Kurt Thomas (10.4 pts, 6.7 reb), Marcus Camby (12.0 pts, 11.5 reb),
bench: Glen Rice (12.0 pts, 4.1 reb), Larry Johnson (9.9 pts, 5.6 reb), Charlie Ward (7.1 pts, 4.5 ast) Also, Othella Harrington (9.0 pts, 5.2 reb) played as well.
I can't remember back when it was harper, but I think mason, starks and someone else came in.
all kool aid all the time.
