I'm just having a hard time figure out the 2 rookies that won't see any playing time, and the 2 vets that won't see any real playing time, if any at all.

I think the losers will be

vets: see rooks
rooks: hmmmm...nate may get limited burn, but I'm thinking all the rookies get minutes, to tell you the truth, LB is very high on 4 year college players more than high school phenoms

So, I think that means that the following vets should look for new addresses in 06/07
Penny and James and MoT and Rose
What if LB sours on Curry?

I just went off the cuff...in all honesty, I think the rooks get little or no play early int he season and then as the season progresses, and everything falls right, JJ, MoT, Rose and Penny will see less and less playing time.

not recently. he usually has an eight to nine man rotation especially after the all-star break. BUT he loves to create roster mismatches. with this roster he can adept to almost any style.

yep, in the playoffs I've seen him go 10 deep a ton, but during the season it's different from game to game. It's like he goes by nba2k6's biorythm.

completely agree, but I think Rose will still get minutes at the 3 and 4. The guy hustles, plays D, rebounds and communicates well on the court.

What year and team was this, Brown is an old school coach " BIG TIME." Unlike our last few coach's ( including JVG) who soley relied on ISO's, and pick and roll.
Brown is strickley a move the ball, let all five guys touch it. Nobody on this squad plays that way. Rose is about the only guy who some what fits in to browns philosphy on both sides of the ball.

How can you say that after his years with Iverson?

OH, I thought you meant in a particular game he played 10 players. Last year's playoff run had 10 players getting minutes, but for hte most part it's a 7 man rotation, sometimes 8 depending on foul trouble...I don't think any coach has a 10 man rotation, however, as I stated, I've seen him go 10 deep a ton.

Are we going to go with the browns philosophy argument again? Brown adapts to his staff. The staff adapts to brown's vision of how they should play together.

Our playoff rotation IMHO will be marbs, craw, Q, Curry, JJ, Frye, Ariza and... your guess is as good as mine. But I'm thinking it could be Davis if he stays. But most likely a back court player. Against shaq/detroit/indy, it'll be Rose and against the rest it'll be nate?

Am I missing anybody?

Seeing H20 and penny in the images adds them to the mix as well...smells like trading deadline to me, or some of the over paid vets take a seat and accept their rolls.

Once again, off the cuff.

Right!! who's that person going to be. If Allan can play, he's going to require 25 minutes easy. He's the 2nd or 3rd highest paid player in a league of 500 players, no way they sit him, not to metion he's a favorite of brown and is stil our best shooter. JC and Q who seems to still be light years away from playing fudamental basketball, and can easliy loose minutes to penny and houston.

Nate (Who has been said to be very coachable) can also take minutes from jc and houston ( who can only play one position).

MO, frye and rose, lack what the other one can't do, so their e pretty much game time decsions.

swtching curry to Pf to play along side JJ seems like the best case senrio, although it doesnt leave us with much of a back up plan at the center, and also clogs the lane and prevents SM and jC from penertrating. we are still very unbalance.

I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest, if Curry sees some pine time, under Larry Brown. He is kind of known as a loader and if anyone noticed, he was gushing over Antonio Davis, but barely said a word about Curry when he came in. I think Davis will have a major role under Browns system, when the season starts.
