From the NY post:

"We're still waiting for some tests to come back," Thomas said. "Because of the Jewish holiday, there was a slowdown in the process in getting some doctors available."

Always blaming the Jews! LOL!

"Vat?, can't find any goyum cardiologists?"

OK IM GETTING NERVOUS NOW

all the tests he took, they take very little time--i knew something wasnt right the moment this thing was delayed, now its beyond a delay --if something came up abnormal on--lets say a holter test and they wanted to comapre holter tests or have eddie to anotgher one that would take time because its on a 24 hour basis--if they had to get echo tapes from chicago--couldnt they just download the tape for a computer? or at worse fed ex it two days ago? no something isnt kosher, pardon the pun about the Jewish doctors taking their time---if there is even a small isue, i hope they dont try to circumvent it, rationalizing that a little medicine and close monitoring will do the trick. if this guy has a lethal ventricular rhyhtm--he shouldnt play

No press conf. called, AD bolts back to Chicago to be with ailing mother in law (Yeah, thats gonna happen!).

Lots of intrigue. This should have been done already.

Isiah sounded somber in his last statement. He did his job, but the lawyers and Docs may not be liking Eddies ticker as much as Isiah would to think so.

I'm telling myself that they are waiting for other opinions from doctors who weren't available until Thursday and today because of the holiday. That's what I'm telling myself.

I remain optimistic, but this whole delay is troubling. I watched video of Curry at practice and of Isaiah's comments. His face looked relatively happy, not somber at all. He didn't seem to be dismayed at all. I think is all about due diligence. I think they already have a lot of info, but just want to dot their i's and cross their t's.

Why let Curry even show up at SC if his early results were questionable. That just wouldn't make sense. All their heart specialist are in NY. I think things will be OK.

i know it's reported everywhere about curry's heart but it is very tough for me to believe that the knicks would send curry down to SC, in front of cameras, yukking it up with crawford if there was a chance he failed his physicals. that would exhibit TOTAL ineptitude by this organization. i mean, i'm not talking about making a bad trade or a signing houston to $100 mil. i mean, just total clulessness on their part for curry to be at camp looking like he's ready to go.

this, i still believe, comes down to AD. the league may have allowed the extension as a kind gesture since he's the president of the player's union. i think they're waiting for this guy to stop acting like a baby and show up. i can't STAND how mitch the bitch lawrence is talking about there's already a public dispute between larry and isiah. PUH LEEZE - LB is talking nice about AD trying to get him here. zeke, CLEARLY frustrated by the situation, lashed out and said "this ain't charity".

this explanation makes sense. i can't see how the knicks would be so IRRESPONSIBLE to send eddy down there unecessarily getting the fans excited.

Well if he was finished with his testing-- and things looked good, albeit data from the testing had to be viewed and interpretated by multiple doctors after the fact--perhaps someone found something after he his tests on the surface looked good. For example-when they put you through a 24 hr monitor--the doctor has to review 24 hrs of cardiac cycles--maybe one doctor read an echo differently from a different doctor--the only thing to me--at this point--that makes reasonable sense is that something came up somewhere and they are fully investigating it--using some of currys old tests to compare--if he was 100% healthy no question about it, he would be playing right now. this inst a paperwork delay, they probably found something on second or third looks and have to go over it again and again--

i agree, anything is possible. it could be a matter of them doing some more tests trying to get insurance before he starts playing. i just don't know why curry would be down there before the full results are back. why he's under a gag order and why other players were allowed to talk about him. that part of it makes zero sense. combine that with the fact that AD doesn't want to play here and he left 1 day after he arrived, it's just too much for me to think the hold up is 100% about curry's heart.

my question is this. Curry was cleared to play by the Chi doctors. What tests are we going to do in 2 days that the Chi "dream team" of docs didnt do in the month they had Eddie under observation?

I understand there is some comparing of data, records being sent, etc.

This isnt a normal trade, and many normal trades to down to the deadline. Look at how long the Q trade took. After it was announced it bounced around for awhile. League offices were closed, etc

fish, the Q trade is an EXCELLENT example.

remember the days leading up to it, there was discussion about Q's back and we had some concerns over it. BULLSH T. the deal was to see whether or not nate was there at pick #21 - only after that, was it announced. if no nate, we would be ok to pull out b/c of the whole "back" question.

same thing here, the heart is a built-in excuse. if AD doesn't report and some crazy stuff goes down and we have to rescind, then we can go with curry's heart.
