OK. I am liking this guy a lot. Not only is he a beast in the game he is also a team player. Check out his comments about the Knicks acquiring Curry.

"When I came here, I wanted to start," James said yesterday. "But my whole career, and you can go back and check any team I've been with, I'm a team guy. Whatever's great for the team, I'm willing to do."

"I think it's great," James said of Curry. "I think it's wonderful. How does it affect me? It puts me on a better team. That's how it affects me. You bring in Eddy Curry, a young, strong, athletic, talented guy, it puts this organization and this team in an even better position to start the season off being very competitive."

James is a talker. I've heard from a couple of different places that he is in horrible shape.

God forbid he would've said... Curry's going to have a fight for the starting spot. That would've been a shame.

Team player is nice, but I would've liked to have seen a little fire.

If he can be a player in NY, im ok with that. James hasn't done anything yet in NY so whatever he says isn't that important. He must prove he is ready to play and earn his money. Get in shape, and be ready because even with Curry on, the Knicks will need James to step up. He better be ready to play!

That's what I was thinking. When the Knicks brought in all those PF's KT didn't concede his spot, he upped his game. Hopefully this guy does the same, but thats not in his history.

You want him to say Curry will have to battle for the starting spot when James has yet to play a game as a Knick? Even he wasn't sure of starting because thats in Browns hands. Once he plays and works hard, then he can talk..
