We are gonna kick a ditch outta the Nets' punk asses! There ain't nothing Fugazy about us now!!

Let's see how Nets fans feel when Curry and Big Game sends VC crashing down to the floor, ending his season. Actually, I hope that happens to their whole team. Let 'em BURN!!!

I HATE the goddamn Nets.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

The Nets are not as good as the Knicks talent wise. I think Curry gives us that inside presence on offense that we really need.

Whats their to hate about the Nets?

Maybe Net fans....but the Nets are just a pathetic orginization that can barely sell out games. Nothing to hate there....just pity.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

But here is the issue that we'll run into with the Nets. And I say this at the risk of complimenting a team that I don't like. But, J Kidd runs an offense extremely well. We're impressive on paper right now in reguards to playing against them but it's going to depend on which squad plays more like a TEAM. If we're jelling as a team and playing team ball on a consistant basis throughout the game we could beat the Nets on any given night.

Knicks Opponents Cumulative OPP AVG PER: 83.1

Worst position being PF at a hefty 18.1
http://82games.com/0405NYK5.HTM

Nets opponents cumulative OPP AVG PER: 73.5

Worst position surprisingly is PG @ 16.6
http://82games.com/0405NJN5.HTM

What does this mean? NY was hands down worse in every position last year... Infact, 4th worst in the league.

If this team plays some D, who knows how far they can go.

I like what the Knicks are doing, but we're young. The Nets have Jefferson, Carter and Kidd. Krstic is very good. Mark Jackson is solid. They're going to be a tough out this year, barring an injury.

I would have to disagree. I think a case could be made for the Knicks being better 1-12 but the Nets have a better Starting 5: I think J-kidd is better Marbury, Vince Carter is better than JC or Q (Better than both together?), and Jefferson is better than Ariza or whoever else we'll be throwing at the same position.

Krstic is very good, I would have to say better than Jerome James but worse than the 'good' Eddie Curry. With Jason Collins there, I would have to say it is a wash. Looking forward I do see Krstic as star player. His skills are very refined and his game is Duncan-fundamental. (I am not saying he will be anywhere near that good.)

Power forward is the big if position for both teams, they have vets, we have young'uns, so I will call that a wash too.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I hate the stench that's brought about with every utterance of their name. Well, maybe Nets fans' dragonasty breath contributes alot to that...

Thing is, I don't even pity them, it's more like disgust. I still hate 'em though.

I know i'm in the minority but i'm a knicks fan who doesn't hate the Nets. I actually like the Nets. I have no reason to hate on them.

While Knicks have the younger and more overall talented team. Nets are in better position to win now.

I'm extremely happy Curry is a Knick because i feel they went from 38-40 wins to atleast 47 wins. Can't wait for both Nets and Knicks to be good at same time.

You guys can hate Nets all you want but Nets/Knicks battling for division will be so much better than 1 team good and other barely at .500

I still worry about damn nets tho in future seasons. Still got Clippers #1 pick. They still have 3 young guys under 23. In Nenad Krstic,Antonie Wright and Mile Ilic. Krstic is like 22 and is gonna be a real nice player. From what i've seen and read Mile Ilic looks like a HUGE steal in draft and is 7'1 and may be ready for next season. I like Antonie Wright alot too. I love his jumpshot and IQ. Plus RJ is only 25.

Then you got Knicks with best young team in NBA. I think Curry,Frye,James rotation will be a huge frontcourt to be dealt with. Robinson gonna be mr excitement. Lee and Ariza will be the hussle guys with great D that we need.

Man oh man i'm pumped. Bring on the season. East is so much better. Gonna be great. MEANINGFUL GAMES!!!!!.

I guess you havent heard the Richard Jefferson 'Nets are the real team of the metropolitan area' quote. Either that or you arent really a die hard Knick fan.

btw: thats not the only reason the Nets are disliked.

I'm a die hard Knick fan and whatever Jefferson says goes in 1 ear and out the other. I enjoy the style of ball the nets play.

If it's Knicks vs Nets. Of course i'm rooting for my Knicks.

I don't know about at the 3, but I could definetly see Rose starting at PF for the start of the season until Frye or Nate crack the starting line up.

I was checking out the Nets board and a lot of them who have league pass and watch Curry play marvel at his ability to flat out score inside and that he is a big body and underrated defensively. They're angry Thorn didn't go after him. A lot of them think the Knicks are a better team
