I am so happy today. I nearly cried when I heard this guy was traded. I don't know how good this team will be, but I do know that when I tune into MSG on a weekday night I won't have to hear anymore pre-game clips of Tim Thomas talking about how "the team" needed to learn to play harder on a nightly basis. The only time I was happier as a Knick fan was when I heard Howard Eisley was included in the Stephon Marbury trade. This is a glorious day in my life.........No need to respond, I just needed to say it.
I just hope that people will like me

Funny thing is, TT said that he pushed for a trade. Good riddance, Tim! The Knicks are for real now!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I almost got up and danced.
This after I just bought a micro-plan.
I won't have to watch that bum play!!!

I'm much happier than trading Eisley.
Eisley might have sucked, but he was not 'Gazy.

This is an emotional day for all of us.....maybe we all need to get some counseling or something. Maybe we should all have a Men's night ouwn and smack some strippers on their ass.....you know to help the grieving process.

Go Knicks!!!

That is true. As much as I hated Eisley and his whining about being the starter, he at least played hard and got the most out of his inability. But TT just made me want to root for the other teams SF.

On some of those nights when Mrs. Bippity says to the Bip "Bip, you're sleeping on the couch tonight" the Bip actually isn't upset, b/c he gets to go to the bank and get those singles and have a bunch of strippers on his couch. Life is good for the Bip. Cheers.

I'm at home with Travis today. We are having a stand off. I had him his spoon, he throws it on the floor and then cries until I pick it up. I've picked it up twice. Not doing it again. The question is, will he stop crying first or will I put a bullet in my head. He's currently drooling all over his Knicks bib. He's also crying so hard that his lips are quivering. It's hilarious. Hopefully he is crying over the spoon and not because we traded TT.

lol... the joys of parenthood. Get used to that. You will never win. The boys dont give in. Girls sometimes, boys never.

TT offended me. I actually remember liking him for a awhile. I dont admit this easily. I think it was that comeback against the Bucks where he went off in the 2nd half. Then he went fugazy.

Hearing Mike Breen talk about all the great things TT *can* do, but just needs to do more often was painfull. Watching Lenny continually forcefeed him the ball was even more painfull.

Tim Thomas gone = GREAT TRADE. It's the first Knick that I absolutely HATED to watch and hated to listen to. I would've taken Eisley back just to get rid of Timmy. ;)

If we traded Tim Thomas for 12 blood-sucking leeches, it would've been a good trade. :)
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

With TT I normally harken back to the game when we were playing Indiana and he was lighting up Ron Artest. Artest could do nothing with him. Here was the league's best defender being destroyed by TT. I was so impressed. That just made it more obvious that this guy doesn't work hard everyday.

On a side note: Travis stopped crying when he realized it was easier to spred yogurt in your hair with your hands than with a spoon. That's all I was trying to teach him apparently.

Hopfully Curry does not have a stroke due to clotting and cutting off oxygen to his brain leaving him to rubbing yogurt on his head!

Gazy man is gone!

KVH avged 8 rebounds a game. one does not do that if your soft! KVH had some head problems, and injury, but he tried!

Starks/Mills<SPree>KVH>Gazy<Curry

I will miss Mike

Nalod: I was one of those guys that bashed KVH but I'll take that guy over TT any day of the week. With TT's athletic ability and size he really has to try hard to not get rebounds. Maybe if we look at it that way he really was playing hard.

Good points. I liked Van Horn, and was upset when he was traded, because I had seen TT play in Milwaukee and heard what the Bucks fans and teammates had to say about him. Physically, TT was superior, but he had no heart. It took 1 1/2 years, but now everyone knows that TT was a waste, despite his physical ability. I was upset with the Van Horn trade, because I knew what we were getting back. It took 1 1/2 years, but as far as I'm concerned, Isiah has undone the mistake he made with trading for Tim Thomas. I guess we also turned the Nazr side of the trade into Lee, a pick and Malik, so take that for what you will. Not terrible. Looking ahead, I think we now have a team I might be proud of again. I'm excited for the upcoming season.

Getting back to TT, anyone who is on an NBA team and isn't a hard worker just isn't worth keeping. I hope Curry works hard. TT sure didn't... this is going to be an interesting season, to say the least.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

We all knew TT would be traded when he had an expiring contract and Penny will be at some point soon. Using expiring contracts as trade assets to get young, talented players is simply inevitable.

It's ashame because I like the guy's potential, I probably was living in dream land to ever think this guy can/will ever play up to his potential. He should easily be better (if not on par) then Scottie Pip. Giving his athletisism, height, range and length, this guy is a massive under achiever...WoW

Very true. He's a headcase, though, and is an extremely dumb player. I know someone who went to college with him who used to post on MSG and actually had a class with Timmy. He was describing Timmy and basically said Tim is dumber than a box of rocks. Tim had a lot of potential, but was an absolute bust. He carried the potential thing for 7 years in the NBA, but I don't think he can pull the potential card anymore. He's just a bust... lazy role player, at best.
