all in favor of offering keon clark (as reported in today's post) the 4.5 if he doesnt take half of it instead, say I...

What position would he play here? The Knicks don't need another toothpick in the post.

I think we should get Keon AND still take Wilcox if he's around at seven...If it turns out that Wilcox is still raw for a while, Keon is playoff-tested. Keon/Camby can switch off with a ton of intensity, and Wilcox could feed off of that, giving us an incredibly diverse arsenal of frontcourt talent...(Although we'd still be missing the BIG center...and playing time management would be tough for Chaney)

I must admit im a Keon Clark hater. He is a decent player, but not as good as the hype. He brings energy to the game but not else. I consider him on the same level is Tyrone Hill. In fact I raher have Tyrone Hill. He isnt C but he really isnt a PF either. He more like a tall SF who cant shoot that well.

Keon wouldn't be a bad player to get. He would be a fan favorite in New York and watching him and Camby out there together would be fun. Throw Wilcox into the mix and you've got a young and exciting team. It would definitely be a nice improvement to the team. I think now we're either going to get Wilcox or Wagner so thats good. I will be happy with either one.

There has never been a trade that has worked in our favor since Layden took over why should you think the Knicks are going to get him.

Personally I like Keon he is a spirited player you can never substitute that. Like I have been saying for a while that is what we lost the fire you know. It would indeed be interesting to see Clarke and Camby patrolling the offensive board while Spree and Wagner wreak havoc off the penetration with Allan waiting on the the wings. What is to lose we only won 30 all last year I am sure that this squad could improve upon that and if they dont then we are in the lotto again which I am sure would be our last for a while.

You want the Knicks to play with fire then you have to get a new point guard, Jackson can put a fire out quickly he lacks athletic ability. A point guard is usually the fire starter. He keeps his teammates on the edge with his playmaking.

Right now, we'd be lucky to get one of JVG's Diet Cokes for Camby. Thomas is the one that should be traded -- his value is at an all-time high.
We suck.

All Clark is going to do is add another bad contract to the list off bad contracts Layden has been a part of.

at 4.5 million, clark is tradeable. the league would take guys with that salary anyday.

What is he going to do for this team? He does not answer any of the problems the Knicks have.

Before anyone says he is a shot blocker, I would like to say the Knicks need a defensive presence which entails a shot blocker not just a shot blocker.

Isn't Clark a restricted FA?? IF he is, then Toronto can match whatever offer teams make, meaning it'd be hard to pry Clark away from the Raptors...

I don't think the Raptors want to pay him the as much as other teams can offer (mid level).

For some reason I can see Keon on the Lakers.

Its already unfair. But adding Keon to the Lakers is probably more likely than getting Woods.
