I was headed down to charleston to visit my grandmother and aunt, I was going to attend one day of the knicks training camp. I called the college of charleston to see if they were allowing open camp. they said no, that the knicks haven't done that in 5 years. I wonder if any of you know or have any suggestions of who I need to contact, that person sounded like they didn't know much of what they were talking about. Actually one person there in the athletic dept, didn't know who the knicks were....

I don't think they do open the practices. most of them aren't even open to the press. only a few teams around the league do open scrimmages, and the knicks aren't one of them. they go down there precisely to avoid the media/fan crush and get some good work done.
