if he was a good outside shooter, we would have taken at least two games from the Nets in the 2004 playoffs. he and shandon were so awful from outside that Steph was constantly doubled at the top of the key, which is why so many people here (myself included) wanted Jamal - for his outside shooting, slashing and playmaking that would take some pressure off Marbs. Not coincidentally, Marbs had perhaps his best statistical season with Jamal.
