Please don't tell me that Larry will instill Houston as our starting SG and move Q to SF. Whether or not Houston is healthy, he shouldn't start. He will have to earn his spot. We all already know that he is a liability on defense and we also know that he doesn't rebound nor do anything else but scoring. Given the fact that Marb is not that strong of a defender, it only makes sense to have Q at SG with either TT or Ariza as SF.

Let me know how you feel about this

I just hope Q is not our starting SF. Not undersized again, please.

If I were picking it would be: Q - SG and TT - SF with Craw off the bench. I have no idea what Larry will do. I dont like the idea of Marbury to SG. If it happens, I hope it works but I think its a bad idea.

My thought exactly. My starting lineup as I envisioned it is: Marb, Q, TT, Sweetney and James. With this lineup, we would have 3 guys that can play some defense and rebound the ball (Q, Sweet and James) and 3 guys that can score anywhere on the court (Marb, Q and TT). If that is not our starting lineup, expect a couple of guys to get traded. Second string should be: Nate, Crawf, Ariza, MO and Fye. We do have too many talented players, that along will cause some problems.

If Houston is fully healed then I have no problem having Allan as the starting SG.

If Houston is fully healed, I still want him to earn the starting position. He has been out for more than 2 years, and most of all, we do have guys more than capable of doing, if not even more than, what Houston is capable of doing. If Q was not on our roster, I would go along with Houston as our Starting SG, BUT Q is.

It will all work itself out. Believe me. Larry knows how to run a team. Training camp will tell him a lot about his players. Don't be shocked to see Fye as our starting PF...

Allan has earned every consideration for the starting spot. He will have earned it in play and ability to play the minutes.

And If i am carrying a guy making 20 mil, hes either playing or retireing, none of thie 9 minutes a nite while we are rebuilding.

I think the skinny must be that allan would retire if he can't give (not get!) those quality min. He could have been waived and gone to a contender in a back up role.

Im not losing sleep on this one, it will play itself out by his quality of play (ie:earn it!)

I sure hoped that he had retired, but that is not the case. Because of his presence on our roster, our rotation will be even more complicated especially with all the guards that we have.

Im even thinking that he has to give it another shot for the insurance to kick in. I don't know how it all works, but a $40 mil payout is not like going up to the ATM!

I am willing to give him a chance to prove that he can still play, but if he can't, he has to move on, because he cost this team a hell of a lot. Because of Houston, we were forced to deal for Crawfford and Q. Just imagine how much we are paying for all three of them (Houston, Crawff and Q).

q at the 2 and pretty much always on the floor, tt at the 3.
it's looking like ariza has arrived and tt will be shown the door before the party starts...where is penny and why is he never mentioned as trade bait for curry? nobody mentions rose anymore...rose is starting...believe that.

Rose is not starter material, not with Mo T, Sweet, Frye and Lee on the roster. You must have forgot, our starting Center is not an offensive player....We are going to need some scoring at either the 4 or the 5. When dude was with the Spurs it was different, because Timmy was the main man in the middle.

I will be if Rose becomes the starter, but when we released JYD and with Larry Brown being the coach, I was sure that this could happen.

Who will B our starting SG and SF?????
