I think KT will give somewhere within 2 points of his rebound totals but will not produce more than one point above his point totals. He will be the same player in a different system. He doesn't suck, he just isn't what we needed and I am ecstatic about what we got for him. It was a steal!!!!!!

"break that bad ankle again".

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Nash seems to produce easy baskets. I think 14 pts 8 reb's is fair.

yeah i could see 14/8-10 50% but thats great for them, kurt thomas as secondary cog is
a very nice option. its the problem when hes your first cog. Hes a good basketball player, but he didnt fit here anymore--we will feel a little sting here and there, but it was a very solid trade for us.

KT in 2005:

18/10 about 35 minutes a night.

Don't worry Marv, even if he scores over 15 you can still eat a steak! (It just won't be free, therefore less tasty.)

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

it was clearly time for us to move on from KT. barring injuries, of course, his scoring should be about the same, rebounding will probably drop a bit playing between amare and marion, but i think he'll gradually continue to look worse and worse on D.

i think they have two guys that could breakout in that system in boris diaw and jones. they are both 6-8 and both have various skill sets that can really help that team. I think people will find out James Jones is a better spot up 3 shooter than Q and plays better D

they still have one heckuva team if you look at their roster--although they were ojne of the most dominanat regular season teams in recent memory, i think they are better built for the playoffs and have the ability to win 55+ wins

I am not sold on Jones yet (I just haven't seen enough to say.), but I have seen some Diaw and he looks like a very talented player to me, athletic with a solid game. I don't know how steady his J is but all he really needs to do on offense is run and keep moving and he should be fine. His biggest contribution will probably be on defense.

yeah, those two guys will actually replace a lot of what Joe Johnson brought to the table. And Kurt is gonna be a demon for them. I don't care what numbers he'll have, but the impact he'll have on the way they play is going to be big.

24/13/3.4 bpg/4assists/57fg% You heard it here first. KT was actually pretending all this time. He's really better than Shaq. My name is deep throat, cough cough, AF20.

KT fits their front court well because KT likes to eat off his little baby jumpers out to 15 feet. Nash to KT makes sense. Also Amare will have the option when he gets inside to give it to KT and his near automatic jumpshot. Marion is an above average rebounder so he makes up for KT not being inside.

This all ties into to why KT did not fit with the Knicks. For KT to be effective not only does he need a good point guard but he needs a post threat to do what he doesn't and you would need the extra rebounder to make up for KT sitting on the outside. That is a liability for the Knicks but makes a lot of sense for Pheonix.

Jimmy Jackson most likely will fill in as the 3pt marksman. All the bases seem to be covered.

Question is:

Can they beat the knicks?

I will take my smack downs by good teams and be a gracious loser as I will not be so generous on the way up!
