50.

that's right.

50 wins.

this team could go either way. but i'm predicting the high way.

every year some team wins at least 10 games more than anyone predicted.

guess whose turn it is this year?

Bulls and Wizards come to mind.....I predict the Knicks will finally excite the NBA world. I said before.....we are due!!!

I'll say a game or 2 above .500 and make the playoffs. Marbury makes all-star team, Nate goes to dunk contest

Totally agree...

.500 sounds about right. I say we just miss the playoffs, or make the 7th or 8th seed, and drop 4 straight to Indiana, Detroit, or Miami.

The real reasons to watch this year are to see how the youngsters do, what kind of roles Marbs and Craw are gonna have, which JJ will show up, etc...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Fine. No range. Straight up. I say 40 wins. We go 40-42 with exactly what we have now.

I was wondering the same thing. I am willing to wager but you have to make a prediction too. And...Whomever is closest wins! A steak dinner as the prize?...maybe, but a wager for sure!

Hey fishmike, I wanna see your prediction for Sweetney this year! I put mine out there: 12/8

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

if you ever actually said anything I would pay attention, but my 2 year old usually makes more sense than you do. I asked you once, I will ask you again. As of right now nothing is locked in but I would say Det/Indy/Heat/Nets are the top 4 teams in the East. Which of these is the Knicks going to knock out to get to round 2?

Still waiting...

48 wins. JJ makes or breaks us at center--we need him to do well. If he has a breakout season we can go deep in the playoffs.

46 Wins and the Atlantic Crown and 2nd rd in the playoffs :)

Yeah I expect about 13 more wins this year. Its a bit high for most people, but I just think that all the additions will help make this team far more capable on back 2 backs and with the balance we now have, it will keep us from fighting uphill against every team, like last year.

Our bench will be one of the strongest in the league. just realize that we'll have JC & H2O on our bench how many teams have that much firepower on their bench. We can matchup with any team. If we have to go big we can do that. if we have to go small and quick we can do that. If we want a pressing, running team or a post up, half court team, we have the players who can do it. Not many teams can do that, but we can.

actually 12/8 is exactly what I would have said. I will boost the scoring a bit though, because I think he's the best option up front and he gets more touches. I will go with 13/8 and > 52% FGs in 28-32 minutes. Sweetney will do whatever LB says and JJ is NOT a go to player in the post. I think with Mo T, Rose, JJ, Frye and even Lee there will be a lot of shuffling in the frontcourt but Sweetney will be a stablizing factor all year (barring injury of course)
