The article from the Bergen is posted on the UK home page.

The Knicks, though, may tap the Cavs to make one final roster move before or during camp. Eric Snow, whom the coach may pursue to play alongside Stephon Marbury - as he did for Brown in Philadelphia with Allen Iverson - is on the market following the Cavs' signing of free agent Damon Jones last week.

With more than $25 million due over the next four seasons, Snow wouldn't come cheap. But if the Knicks can convince the Cavs to take one of their high-priced players, such as Malik Rose (three years, $19.6 million left) or Maurice Taylor (two years, $18.8 million), a deal could be struck.

Using Penny Hardaway (one year, $15.75 million) or Tim Thomas (one year, $13.975 million) wouldn't work for salary-cap purposes without the addition of another player besides Snow.

As for rumblings that the Knicks might again pursue Bulls center Eddy Curry, the heart condition that's left his contract uninsurable makes him a gamble. And Curry is likely to accept Chicago's one-year, $5 million offer for this season.

Only if the Bulls considered taking one of the albatross contracts would the Knicks - who've already added Jerome James and Channing Frye to play center - consider it.

Nothing new.....

Still what would you do for a Klondike bar?

There have been discussions
On which direction to go
Add a player here or a player there
Even to reach out for Eric Snow.
In his best of times
He only averaged 12 and 6
But 4 and 4 off the bench
Is not quite the right mix.

His contract is too expensive
For what he brings to the table
With Stephon, Jamal and Nate
I believe we are more than able.

So listen when I tell you
I'll shout far and I'll shout near
To whom it may concern:
No SNOW this year.

I feel you on this Travla
It's the truth as sure as s**t
The thought of adding Eric Snow
Leaves me colder than a witch's t*t.

I doubted the Snow pickup when I first heard it, and am still doubting that it'll happen.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I think we gotta use Rose in a trade b/c out of all our high-priced players, he makes the least (6 Mill.).

I still hope Isiah goes after Curry. Forget Eric Snow, only way I consider him is for Rose.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

In that case, I like the deal then.

We can dream, can't we?

Rose for Snow?

Rose would be exactly what Clevland needs off the bench. Veteran leadership that makes up for Traylors absence.

What does Eric do for us? All he would do is decrease Nate and Craws minutes. Eric Snow is a bumb.....but I respect how he plays. If the Knicks didn't have Nate I'd love this trade.....then again.....will Nate play much anyway with Marbs here?

Also there is the injury bug.....God forbid but if Marbs goes down we'd have Nate ready to step in. Snow is good for a injury too so Nate would get his share of chances. So is trading Rose for Snow all that bad?

I think it could be a good thing so it could relieve some of the glut at power fwd. Channing is gonna see time there and David Lee is gonna eventually make is presence felt. Then there is still Mo and Sweets hanging around.

I think the Knicks should actually make the Snow for Rose trade.

That would be a horrible trade ! You guys would then start saying how ZEKE was dumb because Snow has more yrs & money on his contract !! Then you have Marbs, Craw, Nate & Snow ?? Then you would say how ZEKE is the 2nd coming of SCOTT LAYDEN !!! So please, if you want to sign a PG ? FRANK WILLIAMS for the league minimum !! His defense is just as good as Snow, cost less, better shooter, younger and has a better upside !!!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

Yup age and contract pretty much kills it. Rose has 3 years but Snow has 4!

They'd have to throw a lot in (e.g., multiple 1st rd picks/Gooden and 1 1st rd pick) for me to accept Snow. Even then, I'd still want Snow playing BEHIND Nate in the rotation. Snow would have to get a lot of DNPs with Nate getting nearly all the backup PG minutes. (I highly doubt Brown would do that, though, and I probably wouldn't trust him to do that if I were Isiah.)

Unless it's Lebron, they can't throw in enough for me to like a trade for Snow. This is almost as bad as when those Antoine Walker to NY trade rumors were flying around.

yeah, he's a shell of his former self AND his contract is longer the Rose's...Not sure where all the Snow love is coming from when we have Nate the Great on our roster and Craw and marbs...you wanna clear the glut at PF, Isiah and LB have two options...BUYOUT or DNP.
