Just heard there was a possibilty while at work. No links, but, it would be built about two block west of the current MSG. Anyone else hear of this?

New Owners means shake up and a possible salary dumping and more and more losing.

I couldn't take it!!!!

The garden is MSG property, but the land can't be. Im figuring its not going to cost MSG a ton to have the developers move them into a new building as the property they are sitting on is unfreakin believable!

Why a new garden? The sight line for the boxes are just awful. In NYC, the potential for box revenue is huge and the boxes at the top of the building just don't make sense. In one sense, many folks are going to get pushed up. The lower bowl will be premium seating for the most part. Check out Charlottes new arena on the we site. The lower seats always go for a premium, but then they have added some premium services to lower bowl seats to make them more attractive.

Then comes the box seats midway, and there will many of them. Then the rest of the seats will be on top.

Unfortunatly a set upt that pushes up its most rabid fans might sterilize the atmostphere a bit. Too many corp. seats down low sucks. I went to many hornet games and sat with Bank execs and other corp. seats. They all leave early even in a close game to beat traffic. Its a social event for many suits! I would get complimented seats as hand out which is cool, but not many hoop fans get them on a regular basis. They come late also.

I like going early and watching them warm up!

The concorse's in the garden are many, but are not the big wide tall ones in modern arenas. They are a bit short also!

I am quite fond of the old building, and that great ceiling! But lets face it, MSG puts on a good show and I can only imagine a new building would be nothing short of fantastic and an improvement.

I'm just worried about keeping my season ticket seats in the same area, I dont want to and shouldn't have to be moved up.

But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself right now aren't I...
