Ronnie Brewer, 6-7, 200, PG/SG....Kid's strengths and weaknesses sound ALOT like DWade's when he came out of Marquette...

-Great Body
-Great Athleticism
-Great Vision
-Natural Leader, great court demeanor
-Good off the ball defender, a la Larry Hughesish...

Weakness
-Horrible shooter
-Not a great on the ball defender

From reading his scouting report, I like this kid better than Jamal, because he seems more well rounded. Plus he is a legit 6-7, 200, great size for a guard and is not a SG in a PG body with a PG mentality.

nbadraft.net - the return of the Center. seriously. there are about 15 players already on radar that are 7 foot or taller and not done growing and about 3 to 5 are SERIOUS center prospects, and at least two are FRANCHISE talents. anyone that plays lotto for 2007 is gonna strike it big if you land in the top 5. Plus there is always a very good guard taken in the lotto every year.

absolutely nothing like dwayne wade in anyway. something between the lines of a marquis daniels/John Salmons with bad shooting form due to a freak injury. More of a G than a F--skinny for F. Our draft next year is determined by our playoff status[if we are in we get 1 if not we only have SA #1 which stands to be 28-30 in all likelihood]

I dont know where Ronnie Brewer will fall he does do a lot of things and he can play some PG at 6-7

If we make the playoffs, and sit at 28-30, there still could be an interesting big man there. there are some players that are being drastically under-rated.

You will see a lot of bigs jump into the 2006 draft for positioning. Just thinking if we ended up with 6-9 285 Eric Williams --who to me is a very close version to eddie curry, but with a meaness to him 4 years of school and he cares--if we could get something like that at pick 29, i wouldnt be upset. He is so vastly under-rated imho. Hes an undersized 1, but he is in shape at 285, he lost a lot of weight and he has nice athlesicm for his size. Well, I have to believe that a guy like him will be valued this year--he had a 21 point 9 reb game in the draft pre camp
