gets rid of another 32YO PF with 3 yrs left on his contract for an ending contract who can be our 3rd string C and additional trade bait.

Great idea there Briggs but who would play C for the wolves?

What kind of sick act are you talking about?, and why is Malik Rose making you do it on Kandi-ass?

Seriously, Olowokandi is one of those guys who actually hurts his team while he is on the court. No thank you.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

They have a bunch of big guys, eddie griffin is better than kandiman. the whole goal is to get rid of malik rose for an ending contract, i could care less if it was clarence weatherspoon.

I like the idea but I think its premature. I would actually like Rose here for a year while Lee and Frye are NBA babies. Rose is an NBA workhorse, and those guys could benefit from watching him and his bag of tricks for a year. He's a winner and despises losing. I remember last year when he kicked the scorers table. He looked like the only guy on our team that was NOT ok with getting beat every night.

If something like this is out there come deadline or next year I am 100% with the idea.

moving malik rose for a deal that either expires this year or next year, then you do it. i think you even do it regardless of the player. that wipes off about $6 more mil in the summer of '07 giving us more options IF we were to get under the cap.

BUT malik is important to the team, especially now that jyd is gone. it's a toughie but i think moving malik probably would be easier after the season when he only has 2 years left.

I don't think we have that much of a glut anymore, to tell you the truth. Lee and Frye are still rookies. IMHO, we have 3 pfs and one rookie PF. Frye and JJ at center. am I missing something?

Sweets/rose/moT/Lee (rook)

I wish I could see a knick practice, I think our second string may be younger and more athletic than our first team.
marbs/Q/TT/Sweets/JJ
vs.
nate/craw/ariza/Rose/Frye

and I see Rose starting, so that second unit is our starting unit in 5 years

Lee played SF in the summer league and probably will in the NBA. The team has 3 PFs, whom I will call the "Killer Ms": Malik, Mo, and Mike
Like some of us predicted, it would not be hard at all to clear up the glut at PF that some were obsessing over

I'm not buying the lee SF thing just yet, from how I've seen him play, he's definitely a white young ambidextrous oakley with an outside shot.

Rose is overpaid. He's short. But trade one of the toughest guys in the league, a good teammate, a very good defender, who can play multiple positions (especially on the defensive end) for a tall guy with no skill level, no work ethic, no desire. No thanks.

It depends on how Isiah told Larry he intended to use the expiring contract

I'd explore an idea like this around the deadline, but Olowokandi is too injury prone IMO.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Malik's contract is not the one handcuffing the team.

kurt is gone, jyd is gone and now you want to sacrifice rose for kandi? what kind of front court leadership you want to build on? recently you agreed on surrounding starbury with the kind of talent that would make this team a winner. yet you have room to sell this team short with a kandi-coated expiring contract?......bad intentions bro
