with artest, sjax, granger at the SG/SF positions, should we make a play for bender?

he has 2 years $14 mil on his deal

would a malik/mo + cash + spurs #1 get it done?

would you guys do it?

thats alot for him.

Malik and Mo are talented players who can contribute something to the game. Bender will never get any burn behind those 3, and I wouldn't give up that much for him, hes a big risk.

Malik/Mo + cash
or
Malik/Mo + Pick

but not cash AND the pick.

that's true case - but i'm looking at it more like lightning in a bottle.
instead of making moves for a player like mo - i think we should be making moves for a guy like bender who has the tools and is still VERY young. relatively LOW risk based on what we give up, HIGH reward.

Earl watson i'm thinking... LLE? But where would he fit? He's Eric Snow but 7 years or so younger.

no room for earl here

i think we have our quote of PG's. i'd much rather give any PG bench minutes to nate over ANYBODY else in the league right now.

I'd trade Mo for bender. Mo doesn't offer anything crucial but there's that tiny chance (maybe 5%) that Bender becomes a very good player

are you kidding me?

remember when he was baseline on starks and kiki, spun around and then dunked on ewing?

or when he had byron russell one on one at the top of the key, pushed him down and then hit the championship winning jumper over his head.

and i'm not even going to get into the back to back dunk contests.

man, bender is like a hall of famer. oh wait, that wasn't bender...
