Based on Larry’s records, he only allows guys that take good percentage shots to shoot the ball. Example: last year in Detroit, Hamilton, Prince, Sheed and Billups took the majority of the shots.

Hamilton took 1160 shots and made 510= .440%
Sheed 1062 467= .440
Prince 963 469= 487
Billups…… ..913 and made 404= .442

Based on those numbers above, I expect the Knicks’ shot selection to look like this:

Marb 1308 604= .462
Tim T. 718 315= .439
Q 1045 407= 389
Sweetney 446 234= .531 If he is in the starting lineup

Frye is a pretty consistent scorer, and that alone will earn him a lot of shots when he is on the court.

Frye will be a hell of a scorer in the NBA, I truly believe this... he's got a long way to go however, just in terms of staying on the floor

I agree. I expect him to outplay all of the other guys by midseason.

I am hoping that Frye becomes the New Age Rasheed Wallace without the Weed.

take this w/a grain of salt, but i actually compare him more to a duncan 'type' of player.
as for shot selection, those were the guys that were on the floor most of the time. they were'nt that deep last year.

He reminds me of Duncan too. He has a similiar body and demeanor. Will he be as fluid and poised as Duncan? Too early. Brad Daughtery is a guy I mentioned before. I hope Channing can get close to their levels one day.

I have never been as excited about a season as I am right now. We have so much to be thankful for, it is crazy. Who would have thought that Larry Brown and Zeke would team up to lead N.Y. out from the bottom of the barrel...Everything is falling in place, and all we need right now is good coaching and a little time for our boys to develop some chemistry...

I am expecting great things out of Frye, but he will not be able to produce effectively if he is not given the minutes necessary. However, if he is the competitor that he is advertised to be, he will out work everyone and earn a spot in the starting lineup.
